Upon arrival we were told that there was a $250.00 damage deposit on the room. This was not mentioned when we called to confirm the room reservation. There was no where else to go so we paid it. Then the next morning (Saturday) we found out that we couldn't check out until 8 a.m. Again this wasn't mentioned when we... More

Very friendly staff. Perfect place to stay if you want to meet other peoples and have a fun night at the bar. The place has great food. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. If you have the time you should take a round of golf.

This is an "Historic" property, and if you are looking for something that meets modern standards of nice golf resorts/hotels you might not like it. That said, I very much enjoyed my overnight there on my way back from Grand Tetons to LA. The staff were incredibly friendly, and while the food was a choice between pizza and whatever Tim's... We decided to stay here because it was listed as being pet-friendly, and we were traveling with our dog. It is definitely pet-friendly, we were allowed to have our dog on the restaurant patio with us while we ate dinner. The owner Lori and her family were very nice to us. Lori was also the chef behind our excellent meal;... More

My wife and I just returned and all we can say is it's an odd hotel. Our room was on the ground floor, which I don't recommend for those who are claustrophobic. The window is above eye level, looking at the wheels of the cars in the parking lot. The room was clean, but lacking. We had one bath towel,... More

We pulled in late to Mesquite and all the rooms there were booked. Didn't check other reviews and booked two rooms here. The room I stayed in was rundown but seemed clean. Only one lamp was plugged in. Tub had no drain plug. Not enough towels and had to check in at the bar. The other room had dirty toilet... More

As we entered the grounds to the golf course/hotel, our spidey senses were aroused by the run down messy condition and lack of signage to direct us to hotel reception. I approached the entrance to the golf pro shop and observed several hand written notices affixed to the glass entrance doors. Immediately I entered, I noticed the interior was stocked... More

We chose this property because it was close to friends we were visiting. The pictures are deceiving! The ambiance was unimpressive and disappointing, considering the price. The room was spacious, but sparsely furnished with few amenities. The room didn't feel or look clean on arrival, but improved a bit after housekeeping went over the room the following morning. The reception desk... More

My wife and I wanted to play for the first time in a couple of years. We did not want to tackle a real course. This is the only 9 hole course in the vicinity of Mesquite. It is all par 3 except one 4. A cart and 9 holes was $40 for both of us. The course is in... More

We stayed at the hotel initally because Mesquite, NV hotels were booked or overpriced for the weekend. The hotel is very charming in a quiet little town 9 miles North of Mesquite. We had a first floor room, very comfortable King bed, very clean, reciently remodeled. Hotel staff were friendly. Small opperation, they are only open 9am to 9pm, so... More
