My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Kamahi Cottage in order to be conveniently located for our visit to the Waitoma glowworm caves. I had booked the cottage on recommendation of my travel agent, and it turned out to be the nicest B and B we have ever experienced! It should be noted here that our entire 2-month trip... More

What a wonderful surprise! We traveled throughout New Zealand for 30 days and the Kamahi Cottage was by far one of our favorite places to stay. The cottage is beautiful. There were fresh flowers, lemonade, fruit and homemade pastry in the cottage when we arrived. There is a nice selection of wines in the cottage if you wish to purchase... More

Awesome adorable cottage. Loved the fact that the bedroom is upstairs. Incredibly comfortable Bed. Much attention to detail. The breakfast was tasty, healthy and exceeded our expectations. The owner, Liz, made every effort to meet our every need. We arrived there late at night and it was not a problem. Beautiful view. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

This fantastic cottage is a little way out of Waitomo but it's worth going to stay even if you don't go the do the caves and glow worms. The accommodation is superb, the view fantastic but most of all it is the peace and quiet in this great location that got to us. There are even hammocks on the veranda... More

All the things we like most about New Zealand wrapped into one location - extraordinary hospitality, stunning views, genuine friendliness, effortless relaxation, and a sophisticated attention to detail. Even though we visited in mid-August, the gardens and surrounding farmland were so perfect, we actually canceled some of our site-seeing just to spend more time on the property. Easily the best... What a perfect gem of a hideaway. It is immaculately presented and everything we thought it could be. Small attention to details were outstanding. The veiws and location are a perfect example of a beautiful New Zealand rural outlook. Really, it feels like you live here forever. The food was deliciuous Delicious, home-made and perfectly presented. Small little details made... More

Spending the night in the cottage was amazing! The grounds of the farm are the perfect setting for the beautiful cottage. The house was clean, modern and the perfect size, just as described on the website. Liz welcomed us the moment we arrived and cooked a fabulously delicious dinner and breakfast. We were especially grateful for Liz's hospitality as she... More

We loved everything about this place, especially all the small details (some homemade cake waiting for us, homemade lemonade, lots of fresh flowers, umbrella etc.)... Breakfast was one of the best part of our stay at Kamahi cottage. Elisabeth makes the best breakfast in New Zealand! The cottage itself is very large, is very quiet. There is only you, no... More

We spend 2 nights at this beautiful cottage with the most amazing view you can imagine. The cottage itself is very modern with attention to detail that matter. You can cook your own food, go out or get Liz to create you a tasty NZ style dinner. The breakfast is very jummy and Served in the main house just next... More

From the moment of our arrival we knew that we had found a very special place. Elizabeth greeted us as she appeared from the beautiful gardens of her home that was adjacent to our little slice of heaven for the next two nights. The panoramic views provided a dramatic backdrop and could be admired from the porch of the cottage... More
