Our stay at Kamahi Cottage was absolutely wonderful. Elizabeth was extremely hospitable and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. She is an incredible cook, very friendly, and a joy to talk to. The facilities were clean and well kept. The farm is beautiful and peaceful. This was a perfect night's stay for our honeymoon... More

Kamahi Cottage is not cheap but is worth every pound, yen or dollar you pay. If you are visiting that part of the world take the opportunity to stay, even if just for one night, like myself and my wife. The cottage and its setting are both very pretty. Everything in and around the cottage is of a very high... More

Staying here was the highlight of the North Island for us. Liz is such a warm and gracious host, and waking up on that beautiful farm (we arrived late at night, which Liz was very accommodating about, so we didn't know what our surroundings were until we woke up the next day) was like waking up in a Disney movie.... After a stressful day of driving on the left hand side of the road for the first time, words cannot express how wonderful it was to drive up to the cottage and realize that we were in the midst of a soothing garden with a most gracious host in Liz. The view was spectacular, the variety and color of the... More

We stayed two nights at Kamahi Cottage- we were coming from a big hotel in Sydney so it was great to have our own little house in the country- the cottage is comfortable, pretty, well equipped and cozy- surrounded by beautiful gardens and a lovely lemon tree right outside our door. Our host Liz provided dinner our first night, since would... More

My son and I took a long adventure trip to celebrate his graduation and spend some time together before he moved away to start his career. Amidst what was probably the best vacation of my life, Kamahi Cottage stood out as a truly memorable experience. We stayed overnight as we went from rappelling and caving in Waitomo to backpacking the... More

We had a lovely stay at the Kamahi Cottage!! We spent one night there at the end of our honeymoon and it was the most relaxing wonderful evening. Liz and Evan have created a romantic private escape - much needed after adventure filled travel. Liz is a remarkable cook and the dinner she prepared was the best we had on... More

We stayed two nights in Kamahi Cottage. It is well maintained, and very romantic. The farm setting is beautiful, but the best part is the garden around the main (hosts) house. It is the most stunning private garden we have seen, and we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner amongst flowers, birds and the sweet smell of summer. The hosts are... More
