If you're looking to relax, Kamahi Cottage really is the perfect place for you. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to local attractions, the cottage is a true slice of heaven with everything you need right at your fingertips. Upon arriving you'll notice the beautiful gardens which Liz and Evan clearly pour so much love into... More

Liz and Evan have provided a wonderful place to sit back, relax and enjoy New Zealand. The cottage has everything that could be desired - a great view, first class amenities (kitchenette, bath, etc.) and the hosts are most gracious and welcoming. I had the chance to share a dinner with Liz and Evan - a flawless example of "traditional"... More

We were only two days in this comfortable cottage, enjoyed Elisabeth´s and Greg´s hospitality, the excellent dinner and fell in love with their beautiful garden. Our hosts made us immediately feel at home. We have nothing to criticize and wished to stay longer! This is a perfect place to relax and a good starting point for visits to the Waitomo... More

Kamahi Cottage is the perfect place to head to for a few days to catch your breath, unwind from stress and soak up some of New Zealand's glorious country side. The wonderful owner can provide you with the most delicious home made meals and baking. I lounged in the comfy hammocks on the front deck, listening to the birds singing... More

This was our last night in New Zealand and we could feel ourselves unwind after all the driving as we lay in the hammocks on the verandah looking out over many square kilometres of farmland below. We had been welcomed with Swiss pastries and the introduction to the cottage was helpful - so many extra little things like books and... More

We wanted to experience a farm stay while traveling around NZ for our first time. After plenty of online research, we chose Kamahi Cottage due to it's quiet location and proximity to the Glowworm caves. Upon booking, Liz was in contact with us promptly to discuss our options for the stay and provided us sample menu choices for the duration... More

We came to Kamahi Cottage with 2 young children. We were greeted on arrival with fresh baking and a warm welcome. Not that we'd travelled far to get there (only from Hamilton) but it was still a warm welcome and one that made us feel completely at ease. The cottage looks out over rolling farm scape which in the evening... More

This bed and breakfast is phenomenal. It started our trip in the North Island, and made it that much more amazing. Liz is amazing, her cooking is amazing, the view from the cottage when you wake up in the morning is *breathtaking*. Liz gave us some extremely valuable recommendations for the day, which led us to exploring some fantastic areas... More
