We were stranded in Otorohanga as we blew 2 tyres and our electics on our vehicle after going over a unmarked pothole. The office @ Palm Court was closed but the ownwers still came to the door when the bell was rung. Awesome owners who were very friendly and helpful in every way. Very clean facilities. An awesome stay.

What a delight! We had such a restful night in this very tastefully appointed motel. Simple, very clean and just what we were seeking after a weary day on the road travelling. Thank you Robyn and Paul

We stayed in a good sized clean family unit for one-night in the busy holiday period - the owners' were away and the caretakers very friendly and helpful - when owners returned they realised that we were double charged (online and in then in person) and promptly refunded the money - very honest! The motel is easy to find and... More

More than adequate motel facilities in a clean family room environment. Being close to the motorway did not make for a restful night though. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Was a good stay overall.

As Sara R stated a particularly noisy motel being right on the main drag and the by-pass directly across the road.Hard to hide from it.The room I had wasn't the cleanest but the bed was comfortable.Very handy to the town centre is a plus.

This motel is right on the State Highway, where the trucks change down in gear as they enter the town. It was horrendously noisy all night, even with all the windows shut as tight as the broken latches allowed. Of course that made the room stinking hot and there is no air-con. It was far too expensive for a tired... More

The Palm Court Motel is not to expensive and well worth the price. The room we got was spacious, clean and tidy with a very comfortable king size bed. There was a door out to the patio at the rear side of the hotel, where each room got some square meters, a table and some chairs. The hotel is close... More

I stay in this motel frequently. It is what it is - friendly owners, average but comfortable rooms (stay as far away from the main road as possible) stay upstairs to eliminate the noise of upstairs neighbors, andif there is a problem of any kind they are happy to take care of anything. So all in all I recommend it!

Located on an intersection of two roads, one being the main highway through the town. So if you like noise...... The room was tired and not in the best of shape. Someone needs to spend some money on this place. Had that smell of a leaky building. Curtains were wafer thin and didn't close properly. Didn't feel comfortable here at... More
