We stayed last week in the Kookaburra cabin. It was spotlessly clean. We had a relaxing time fishing everyday. The lake is pristine aqua blue and so clear. The lake is currently open to the ocean. Fishing the lake in the morning, jogs along the beach. No food outlets close by. Had to stock up at Batemans Bay. Great fire... More

I stayed for one night in a standard cabin with shared amenities. The staff are friendly and very nice. The room was an open floor plan with a master bedroom and amenities were shared, the amenities were very clean. Overall cleanliness of the room was clean and tidy. Mobile phone service is Telstra only and varies between 1 and 3... More

We spent a great week at Lakesea. the water was still warm and the waves were really good all week, I was able to enjoy an early surf at the front door step, then walk about 100m to the lake to take the kids fishing on the sheltered lake.perfect, only i should have forked out for the elevated cabins that... I have been to Lakesea Holiday Park for the better part of 20 years. What keeps me coming back? It's perfectly located between...well the lake and the sea. You can do as much or as little as you want. Teaming with wildlife, the area has been well managed to preserve the natural wonders that Murramarang National Park has to offer.... More

A long overdue trip, normally we head south at the Princes Hwy usually ending up staying at the family unit in Batehaven. This trip I had work around the area, so we opted to stay close and somewhere new. We loved our stay here and as it was only 1 night, we have already started looking at the calendar to... More

I often travel to the NSW south coast and have stayed at several venues and have enjoyed most of them, but the last time I stayed in the area I tried Lakesea Holiday Park and it was great, lovely setting, friendly helpful staff and clean well appointed cabins with great views, the cabins and grounds are clean and well maintained... Thought we would check out Lakesea Park. Had a great stay! New camping area is really well setup, loads of wildlife in the park and we had the beach to ourselves, even managed to catch a feed! Clean amenities and well equipped camp kitchen. Staff are fantastic, definitely be back later in the year. Thumbs up!

Myself and my family (17 of us) have been sharing our Christmas holidays at lakesea for the last 8 years. We stayed in the elevated cabins from when they were new. On our return year after year they continued to be well maintained, always clean and you had the feeling of going into your own holiday home how ever on... More

We were looking for the camping site that the maps say are there. We get there and find its a paid caravan park. We pulled into the driveway and that was far enough. Very old, run down and full of crappy on site vans. Avoid the area all together and go to places further south. Much nicer and not so... More

As there are seven individual caravan parks in the Durras vicinity, we believe you have posted your review for the wrong property. Our park presents as a clean, tidy and modern property whilst retaining its natural setting. We believe you may have been searching for North Head at South Durras which is a primitive campground. You have obviously made an... More

Have stayed at this park for years. Friendly staff at front desk. Beach can be a bit dangerous and it is probably best to swim in the lake or trek around to cookies beach. Head to East Lynne for top pies and make the effort to visit pebbly beach for kangaroos on the beach.
