Stayed Holbox Dream for 7 nights last week. We loved it! Very close to small town. Short walking distance. The resort itself was very nice & great atmosphere. A bit busier, so bit more noisy than outlying hotels. But the benefit is being close to town. Rent a golf cart from town & take a drive down to see the... More

Just got back from a 3-day/ 2-night getaway with my family. We arrived to a very friendly reception and check-in was courteous and efficient. Upon arrival to our suite, we notice that they had already set up a crib as we requested during the reservation process. The rooms are beautiful and did not drastically change from the tasteful minimalist decor... More

We came here as the nightlight of our trip, having waited 9 months to dive with the whale sharks and our honeymoon. What a big big mistake! Firstly they tried charging us agin when we had prepaid on Expedia. The hotel room they put us in smelt like a toilet. It was right by the reception area and was very... More

The location is very good, the beach was the best of the zone. The only thing we did not liked was we ran out of hot water like after 1 minute. The hotel was under construction so it was kind of unpleasant to hear the workers very early.

The hotel is really worth the money, its clean and the staff is very friendly. The air conditioning will actually make you too cold at night sometime which I love. Its right on the beach and has great recommendations of where to eat, my favorite breakfast was the el jardin, really nice french guy that bakes fresh bread and pastries... More

My partner and I stayed three nights at Holbx Dream Hotel at the start of our holiday three weeks ago. Our flight was three hours late and so we missed the last ferry crossing which is at 21:30. We hired a local guy with a boat to take us across to Holbox, it took 20 minutes. We took a buggy... More

My husband and I have just returned from Holbox Dream, having spent 3 nights there. The rooms all have balconies with a beach/sea view, air conditioning (which was definitely needed in June!) and cute bathrooms with conch shell taps and showers. The bedding was crisp white cotton, with basic facilities but that's all you need. The staff are very nice,... More

My girlfriend and I just returned from Holbox Dream after spending a very enjoyable week. I have only good things to say about the hotel and it's staff but would like to mention one staff member in particular by name, Cesar who was always helpful and friendly in answering our questions and making suggestions when we needed them. He is... More

My partner and I rented a beach chair for the day at this cozy little spot on the beach on Isla Holbox in May 2014. When you rent a chair they include the pool/facilities/towels (and I think it came to 100 peso's per person for the day) Bathroom was clean. Pool was clean, but the beach was so beautiful, relaxing,... More

Very nice team. They were always ready to help with a smile. You can tell they really love the island and their work, specially I would like to thank Tomás for his services. Even if the hotel doesn't have a restaurant you don't need it... Plenty of good places to eat, I would specially recommend Zarabanda.
