We moved into Xaloc as an emergency after a terrible experience at Faro Viejo. This hotel is very well located, the reception staff is very professional and friendly. The whole resort was very clean, the huts (rooms) were very charming and big inside. There are two nice swiming pools. We truly enjoyed our 2 days there. Highly recommended! more

It's a nice hotel but no nicer than Casa Iguana or Miwimbe. The govt is going to build a road to get the golf carts off the beach, with will be nice. The plumbing off gased at night. My husband and I took our then 12 year old grandaughter with us to snorkel with the whale sharks in July of 07. We spent a couple of days down south on Akumal beach and then drove straight north from Tulum to Chiquila and took a private boat over to Holbox as we missed the ferry....same price and much faster.... more
