Number of individual villas - just set back from the beach. The hotel has an area on the beach with hammocks and loungers for guests. There is a restaurant but was unfortunately closed during our stay - but town is only 5mins walk. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly - but hands off. Mosquito repellant is required! Los Mapaches is the place to go, to be, to relax. The best , loveliest, nicest little jewel on the island. I have stayed there several times ( between 4 nights and 3 weeks ) and will do again in the future. There is no better place to relax. This was my sixth or seventh stay at Los Mapaches. It is just gets better each time I stay there. The place is beautiful, wonderfully kept. The houses are clean, very comfortable and sooooo cute! The people are friendly and very nice. I really like the new reastaurant. I keep going back beause they just make you feel at home...... more
