Hotel Mawimbi is a beautiful property. Well maintained, right on the beach, excellent food and the room was perfect for our family of three. The shower was hot, the room cold and the beds comfortable. Ana and Jeevyl where easy to work with during the reservation process and also helped set up a great scuba diving trip to Puerto Morelos... We stayed here during a one week trip to swim with whale sharks. All of the many positive comments about this place are true. We relaxed the minute we walked in the door and saw the beach and the palms. All of the staff are great. We had planned to eat at several restaurants in town but after having great... More

The Hotel Mawimbi is a charming tropical inn, perfectly situated on the beach at the edge of town. The rooms are spotless and the beds are very comfortable. I requested a soft mattress and could not have been happier! Some rooms are located directly on the beach while others are located upstairs with balconies of various sizes and beach views.... More

My hubby and I just returned from our stay at Mawimbi and through our many years traveling together, this was the most relaxing vacation ever (helps that you're on a beautiful beach, welcomed by friendly staffers, and you're "unplugged" for the week)! The "crab" room was small but comfortable, the breakfast light but filling, and the white sand and warm... More

From the moment we arrived at Mawimbi's palm shaded doors we knew we were in good hands. Jeevyl is so kind and caring. She showed us to our sweet upstairs room and invited us to Barquito for a complimentary cocktail. We were greeted by Francisco, who in my opinion, can do no wrong. His food and drinks were sublime the... More

This is a boutique hotel with eco friendly and strong environmental values. Easy eco lux living. Quiet location yet close enough to town for any action. Highly recommend this place for relaxing or just passing through. We used the hotel for there own whale tour. Leo and Andreas collected us right outside the hotel. They have the best and fastest... Posada Mawimbi was such a breath of fresh air for us. My husband and I spent the best part of our honeymoon here and instantly fell in love with it! The accommodations were extremely comfortable (the bed was amazing!), the food at Barquito was awesome, and the staff made us feel like we were part of the family. There is... More

As It is the best place to stay. Right on the beach with few rooms, MaWinbi offers a quiet while still lively surrounding. Everything here is made for you to enjoy. The beach is cleaned every day, the rooms are nice, the restaurant is great and the service discreet and friendly. Cannot wait to go back there !

We loved Mawimbi! The resort is absolutely beautiful. Palm trees and tropical foiliage everywhere. The best beach on Isla de Holbox. It's even more beautiful then the website. We loved our room, with it's tropical mexican accents. The place exudes that relaxing tropical feel through out the resort. The beds were so comfortable! We had stayed at another resort during...
