I enjoyed it. Busy place with a lot of backpackers staying, so plenty of friends to make. Pros: + Good rooms, plenty of space, gets cleaned daily. + Showers are strong, hot, and clean enough. + Adjacent bar brings people to you. + Has a cinema room. + Chair hammocks are fun to chill out in. + Kitchen is large... The staff is friendly, the island easy, the colours of the hostel are cool. The staff is helpful and they have a lot of activities. I was there at the opening of the bar, pretty cool, but the room are close to the bar. So if you are a light sleeper, you may have problem to fall asleep. Be careful,... More

Im not the typical person that stays in Hostels, bur after this trip i will definitly continue travelling to hostels. The place is super clean, the owners very friendly and the crowd are amazing! I got the chance to meet awsome people. The bar has the best party ever and paying less than $20 is really convenient for an amazing... More

Comfortable, clean, well-managed, and beautiful. Lots of activities going on here, in case you needed more to do than explore the town or beaches, which is a lot of fun, too. Hot and cold running water, lovely murals, hand worked artisan furnishings and appointments. Internet WiFi available. During our visit there was a cooking lesson, ceviche with fresh local fish.... Loved my stay at Tribu! The people who manage this Hostel live on the Island and are very involved in the Hostel activities. We stayed in the girls dorm and we were plaised with the conditions. Great kitchen area allowing space for groceries. The bar is great with social activities every night. Staff very helpful and friendly. Awesome experience at... More

We had booked for 6 nights, but after 2 we asked if we could stay longer but due to the Christmas period it wasn't possible, but they did help find a room next door for us in Chukka Keys. The staff and owners were always happy to help with information when asked questions about anything. The bar was always buzzing... More

My Family of 4 (58, 54, 23 and 21) spent 8 days at Tribu Hostel and had a wonderful time -- Davide and Mia have created a great vibe at their hostel and all the staff and volunteers are very friendly and helpful -- Lisa, Victoria, Marcela, Mada, Tobby, Scott, Butcha(sp?) and a family favorite Stefan all helped make our... Nice place if you want to party, but nice too if you want to sleep early and get up early. I was in the dorms of women only, 10 beds, and it was really calm. Tribu Hostel is not expensive and showers, bathrooms and kitchen are always clean. Nice staff and you can meet people from around the world. If... More

This place is pure magic. Tribu has a very welcoming 5 star staff, great ambiance and is clean and accommodating. The common areas are comfortable and there are always fun things happening at the bar in the evenings. Great deal and a great way to experience the island.

I really liked this hostel but I'm not a fan of Holbox. Its an expensive little island, the beaches are very average and the mosquitos are unbelievably bad. Never experienced anything like it and people were leaving the island early just to get away from them. The hostel seemed very new and is kept very clean and well maintained. Loved... More
