... and want to have a fun, wild travel with your friends. You can party all night and the front desk won't do a thing about it. Not so good if you just want to have a nice, relaxing holidays and a full night sleep before returning to the beutiful beach at holbox.

Hotel Casa Barbara was good value for money but a short walk to beach. Clean, air conditioning and continental breakfast. They have tv but nothing to Watch in English, weather channel good info. No safe in room which I feel is necessary on vacation, had to carry money around just in case.

This hotel has a great location, just a few blocks from the ferry and a couple of blocks away from the main square, it has all the facilities you need in order to enjoy a vacation including a fantastic swiming pool, beatiful gardens, hammocks and services include Wifi, AC, Hot and Cold water and cable TV. We spend a couple nights at Casa Barbara, the price was very affordable and included continental breakfast with the room. It is located a couple blocks away from the ferry station that brings you to Holbox from Chiquila and it is also a few blocks away from the main square where most og the restaurants and the bars are at.... Hotel Casa Barbara is a great place to relax and unwind in Holbox. We stayed at Casa Barbara while in Holbox for the whale shark tours. Holbox is a "lively" little island with a nightlife that happens well into the morning hours(in fact the island only seems to "wake up" around 8-9pm). There are lots of gas powered golf carts... Hotel Casa Barbara was a nice, sleepy hotel that adequately met our needs. It does have a nice pool, although the mosquitoes were a bit of a problem. Nicely landscaped and enclosed. Appears better suited to families with smaller children. We would have preferred at least a limited bar. It is located just North of the ferry. It is easy... More

Hotel Casa Barbara is a nicely landscaped hotel, tucked away in a quiet area of the town. It's only a short walk to the beach, and restaurants are right out the front door. But the difference in price between Casa Barbara and the beachfront hotels make this well worth a second look. Large, clean rooms, nice pool, and pleasant staff.

I stayed there for 4 nights and I loved it , the pool is so nice I really enjoyed, the rooms are nice, the bathrooms maybe a little too small, the gardens and the hamacas so nice to sit and relax and the Hotel is in a good location close to the Ferry and restaurants.

We stayed for 4 nights around spring break time. We met some wonderful people enjoying the pool and grounds. This hotel could be much better but I'm sure that would also raise the very reasonable price. I could say a few bad things but we really did get our moneys worth. Our room was upstairs with a king bed and... More

We spent 5 days at Holbox Island and Casa Barbara in February 2013 and we had a very good time. The hotel is located close to the town centre and some of the nices beaches on the island and the service level is good. The pool area could need an upgrade, and it would have been nice to have a...
