The hotel is beautiful and with an spectacular view. A little far from downtown but in a quiet zone. Service is really great. Food is good but expensive. Rooms are big and with all amenities, except for a TV. The pool was a little bit cold for our taste.

This is definitely one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed while traveling. Huge, spacious yards and gardens in a valley of towering mountains overhead, with quiet breezes, animals, and only a 5 minute taxi ride from the Tepoztlan city center. The people who work here are attentive, kind, and very eager to please. They serve food all day,... More

The rooms are simple but very comfortably furnished with antiques, nice linens and great pillows. The breakfast menu is incredible with traditional dishes or omelettes with caviar and mimosas. I had the breakfast special with tamales, steak tampico, and eggs. I also tried the spa during our stay and loved the 90-minute relaxing massage. From the gardens to the pool... More

I came back sick from this trip. The Hotel does not have the basics: NO Hot Water, NO heating. Reading previous reviews, this problem has NOT been resolved in a long time. The price charged for the rooms is excessive. Hotel should be rated less than two (2) stars.

Overall, a nice / ok three day vacation. The mountain views from the hotel are spectacular, nice location, well-kept garden and trees. The jacuzzi was not ready to be used. Pool area ok. Some areas could be better well maintained. The women working at front desk are not friendly and check in as well as check out are slooooooow. They... More

It is a nice three star hotel with no air conditioning, beautiful landscape, well kept and clean, but they charge as if it were a five star hotel. The cuisine is reasonable good mexican but the prices are those of a luxury restaurant.

beautiful grounds. Tastefully decorated, good sized rooms. Nice pool with lots of loungers. We really liked the service, attentive but without being intrusive. We spent a lovely afternoon lounging by the pool drinking excellent margaritas. Breakfast served on a pleasant terrace and we did not have any if the charging problems mentioned by the last reviewer. Its not a cheap... More

While the setting is lovely the service and staff don't know how to treat their guests. We were nickeled and dimed - charged for every coffee and glass of water. And after we left they called me and told me I owed them for a bottle of scotch (one of the little mini-bar ones). Which I did not drink. They... More
