The hotel was okay. Just okay. The room was clean, but bearing in mind that the only feature of the tubohotel room is the bed, it was sadly pretty uncomfortable, you could feel the springs a lot. The room gets hot on a sunny spring day, and the fan provided is extremely noisy. That means you have a choice of... More

We appreciate very much your comments that will help to improve our facilities and service to our guess. In particular about the fan and the mattress. Also, we take not about the your comment on the checking and getting a tower. And thanks for your comments on the pool, the shower and the bathrooms. Cleanness is one of our main... More

It's a fun experience for me. The facilities are good there. Anna, the receptionist girl, speaks some English. She's nice and helpful. Enjoyed talking with her! The owner was very quick responding to my emails before I booked the hotel. Two things not so great: 1) It's quite a walk uphill coming back from the town to the hotel. I... More

Tubohotel is located at the outskirts of Tepoztlan. It is a very small hotel (less than 20 rooms). The most interesting thing about the hotel is that the rooms are repurposed concrete drainage pipes. Each room is about 3mts diameter and only has a double bed, a nightstand, a lamp and a little fan, and it includes towels and sheets.... More

The Tubohotel was just what I expected. The "rooms" are very clean, sheets, blanket, pillow and towels provided. Bathrooms are spacious and very clean, hot water at all times. Shower heads/pressure vary, you just have to try out which one works best for you. The garden is very nice to spend the afternoon, maybe some hammocks would be nice to... More

The place looks cool and its a really good aide too make a hotel from those pipes but not having a bathroom is a ballsy maneuver. The sun woke me up at 7:30. Some of the "buildings" actually pipes are unintelligently oriented and you get baked with sun.. just a little better than camping at the beach

We were disappointed by Tubohotel. It is a fun idea and could be great if they invested in better mattresses and showers. The mattresses were uncomfortable and the showers did not have proper shower heads, making it really difficult to get clean and get a good night's sleep after hiking the Tepozteco. have stayed in capsule hotels, so my review... Love the tubes, great experience and concept.would say a max stay of two days. Ana and Juan are both great, always willing to help. The tubes are not very dark inside in the night so if you need darkness this is not your room. the pool is nice but rather dirty. The area where the tubes are situated is kind of... More

It is a new experience, the rooms (tubes) are small small small. It is fun to stay there for one night and only if you plan to walk the little town and then go to sleep. The bathrooms are 50 mts away the rooms(tubes) but they are clean and with warm water. There is a small pool and parking inside... More

We had no expectations whatsoever and it turned out to be a very different experience from what we were used to. It is a fun hostel and a cool environment. We recommend the place for you to try it! Its comfortable, affordable and clean, but it is a very interesting approach in terms of architecture.

I read about the Tubo Hotel in USA Today and thought it would be a crime not to spend the night there when we were in Mexico visiting our daughter. We didn't need lodging....just booked a night because it seemed like a unique idea. Our daughter dropped us off and then went to her home in Cuernavaca to sleep. She... More
