We spent 2 nights at the Briarcliffe Inn in August and it was great. The place is super clean and very quiet. The breakfast was amazing. One day we had the full English breakfast and we only needed to eat again late in the afternoon. The hosts are super friendly and do all that they can to make you feel... More

Carrie and Malcom were wonderful hosts! They did everything they could to make sure our stay was perfect. The whole B&B was beautiful, old time feel, comfortable and quiet. Only a 6 minute walk to the shore line-you can walk right out during low tide and collect seashells galore. Whole area was picturesque (shoreline to the inn), they have a... More

We stayed for two nights. We found it easy to relax and enjoy ourselves. The new owners are doing a great job and moving in and making it their own. The breakfast was great as well, and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. There is a sitting area you can lounge in, which was... More

The inn is in the middle of farm country but very close to the water. A nice "middle of no where" type place. The inn is older but had renovations. The new owners are doing a great job settling into their new venture as B and B owners. Always ready for a good chat about the local food/ places to... More

The innkeepers, Carrie & Malcolm were very nice and interesting. This is a fairly new venture for them. The room we had was very nice and very clean. Nice little touches which harkened back to the early 20th century. A very slight problem was our bathroom a little down the hall. The very nice hall bathroom was assigned to our... More

We can't recommend the Briarcliffe Inn highly enough. We arrived just a few days after the new owners--Carrie and Malcolm--took over the inn, and they managed our stay as if they had been at it for years. The inn itself is fairly isolated at the end of a dirt road next to a small pig/dairy/potato farm, which makes the experience... More

We stayed at the Briarcliffe for one night in late June. What a fabulous place. Set in the PEI countryside beside an ocean cove, the Inn really makes you feel like you are "away from it all", while being within a short drive of many island sights. We stayed in the Sudbury room and felt right at home. There was... More

Since this was our first B&B experience we do not have any other experiences too but our stay was exactly what we hoped for. We had complete privacy as the B&B is in a remote location and no loud surrounding cities - it was Canada Day and didn't want to stay in Charlottetown and listen to the festivities all night... More
