Thank you so much to Mike, Nancy and Jerry for providing a perfect tropical getaway on Grenada. We LOVED every minute of our stay at the end of June 2008. since this was our first Caribbean vacation, Jerry spent time with my husband and I the first day of our stay to help us understand the local culture and Grenada.... more

La sagesse is in a lovely location - the waves lap up to the restaurant and some rooms are right on the beach. The hotel grounds are a of perfect laid back carribbean style. It's nice to walk around and relax there when it gets hot on the beach. The owner - Mike is very friendly and helpful. The accommodation... more

I just got back from a wonderful week at La Sagesse and want to share the charm of this place with other travellers looking for a vacation that is the opposite of an all-inclusive resort style holiday. If you crave lots of people, pool parties and dancing till dawn, than this is NOT the place for you. If, however, you... more

My sister and I wanted to go somewhere hot place so that we could have a complete rest after a long year and my sister's boyfriend moored his yacht in Grenada and recommened La Sagesse. I also checked the Trip Advisor site to make sure and the reviews were positive. I normally booked into 5* hotels so I was a... more

If you're looking for 5* luxury, a resort with plenty of entertainment near to some lively nightlife, stay away from La Sagesse. If, though, you are looking for a truly beautiful location, full of peace and quiet, but staffed by people who are genuinely friendly and care, and right on a perfect Caribbean beach, then La Sagesse is THE place.... more

I purchased the trip to Grenada as a surprise trip for my boyfriend's birthday and we couldn't have been more pleased with my choice to stay at La Sagesse over the rest of the resort accommodations near the (touristy) Grand Anse. Yes, it's a distance from the 'nightlife action' in St. George's, but you hardly miss the choice with the... more

In June my wife and I stayed there for a full week, and after staying there, I can't image staying anywhere else. We spent a long time researching places to stay, and based off of books and internet reviews we picked La Sagesse because it looked like it was a good balance between quality, a little off the beaten path... more

After many years of planning we booked our wedding in Grenada just before the terrible hurricane Ivan, but mother nature took her course and the devastation meant that we couldnt marry there... more

We have just returned from a fortnight in Grenada and spent the first week at La Sagesse. It was the perfect escape from todays busy world.being some 8 miles from the main holiday area The situation is idyllic on a sheltered bay with wonderful sand. The accomodation is simple but very clean and comfortable and our room was 10 yards... more

Accommadtions sparce. Long way to dine or shop. They have a good restaurant, but if you want something different..you must travel. A taxie to nearest restaurants or shopping is really expensive. A bus takes a long walk, and they only run infrequently, long waits in the sun. The owners are nice and try, but the place is just located badly. more
