Friendly, helpful hosts who make everything so that you feel good uring your visit. Very quiet place, relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful mountain view. The room was very clean and comfortable. One hammock in fron tof our door was lovely. No kitchen equipments at all, you cannot even make a tea for yourself. Public transportation is limited and complicated, you need a... More

My husband and I stayed here for the first three nights of our two week vacation in Dominica. The atmosphere at Serenity Lodges was very peaceful and welcoming, with great hospitality from Lester and Carina, the owners. We enjoyed the homemade breakfast and dinner very much, and the convenience of not having to leave the premises in the evening was... More

Hidden in lush mountains near Marigot is a hotel that feels like a page out of time. With hammocks outside each room, private gardens and a husband / wife team running the lodge, there is nothing NOT to love about it. The inexpensive cost and friendly atmosphere is yet another bonus. Despite a few more bugs in the evening, it's... More

We really enjoyed the lush green setting, the good food on the open air veranda and the walks. On the first morning we were given a lift to the track for Secret Pool and set off across the river. Great fun exploring with a refreshing swim at the end. Our hosts were very attentive and knowledgeable. Not any other eating... More

I stayed here one night because my flight arrived after dark, and it's not a good idea to drive around Dominica after dark. Serenity Lodge is 10-15 minutes' drive from the airport. It's quiet, and you're in the middle of lush countryside. Check the exact location before you set off, as it's up a side-road which is easy to miss.... More

We spent our first four nights in Dominica at Serenity Lodges. After traveling on two flights to get to the island, it was nice to only spend 15 minutes in the car before arriving at the hotel. It was very quiet and comfortable, the hot water in the shower worked perfectly, the room was spacious, and the hammock outside the... More

We stayed at Serenity Lodges for a week January 24-31 2015. The lodges are located about 20 minutes drive from Melville Hall airport (now Douglas Charles) in Concord in a hillside setting. The access road on the hill is a bit of a challenge especially the first time in the dark; a few reflectors along the road would be very... More

Serenity Lodges was an excellent place for me to end my trip before flying out of Melville Hall the next day. The lodge isn't far out of Marigot, but it is quiet and secluded making it seem miles away. The large room and bathroom were an incredible value for the quality. I loved that they had resource saving measures for... More

My husband and I stayed here for the first three nights of our trip to Dominica. Carina and Lester have a great place here as it is now, but they are constantly working to upgrade the rooms and property, so by the time you travel there it will be even better. We ate breakfast and dinner each day and the... More

One point to start, request the Manicou or/and Crayfish dinner for one of your nights. Caught fresh by the owner the dinner here was the best so far in the Caribbean. The lodge was definitely value for money and the service was second to none, with assistance provided for activities and helping my girlfriend repair her damaged toe. If I... More
