I was booked to stay here for 3 nights, however, I left after 2 nights. The setting is so beautiful, however, the service quality is way below standard. At reception, I found the service slow and the staff were quite rude. I had an issue with my toilet and air conditioning - by the second day it was still not... More

This was my 3rd stay at the Rancho San Vincent. The situation has somewhat improved in the past 12 months. This hotel has a new building across the road that is more like a traditional hotel with rooms in a 3-floor building. This building does not have the charm of the individual older bungalows, but being brand new they are... More

We didn't experience howling, biting dogs, so that was a relief. Pool was pretty and the lodges were nice to stay in, though the shower water was stop/start. Be sure to head to watch the exodus from the nearby bat cave at dusk. While you wait, you may want a cocktail - these tend to be nearly 100% alcohol so... More

The hotel is in a great location. We stayed for one night. The hotel has a large swimming pool and is surrounded by large trees. Most of the customers were tour groups that arrived with buses. We stayed in the new part of the hotel across the road. The room is large, new, a decent bed and looks very nice.... More

Wonderfully situated with trees surrounding hotel and pool. Our room was quiet enough and away from the road but nothing special. The shower was the same level as the rest of the bathroom, so water leaked everywhere. Breakfast was pretty awful apart from the eggs cooked to order. Very pleasant sitting round the pool. However, the location makes up for... More

basically this hotel has a wonderful location in a green area. However, the newer rooms are in a new building along the busy road. So it is quite noisy till late and from 5:30 AM again. The new rooms are spacious. but the the lamps are not connected - so not enough light. We had little to no water at... More

A few miles out of town the hotel is surrounded by trees. We had a couple of bungalows booked overlooking a large number of solar panels...nice In the evening a pack of dogs in the neighbourhood went crazy, barking for hours. Breakfast was truly awful other than eggs cooked to choice. Couldn't exchange sterling or Euros. A sewage smell was... More

This was our first stop in Cuba - two nights in a charming bungalow. The bridge that everyone mentioned is challenging, but our bungalow was remarkably comfortable. The water allowed a warm-ish shower at best, and the air-conditioning defeated us but we found blankets. And the views...incomparable!

Spent one night at this beautiful Resort on July 2nd, 2014. After being so dissapointed with the service received in Varadero, I was not expecting much from this place. To our surprise, This place was amazing from the moment we checked in till we departured. Staff is wonderful, from the cook to the General Manager. We had a wonderful time... More

This is my second stay at Rancho San Vincent. Last year I was very happy, this year.... It was not so good. First of all, the rooms are all bungalows. There are 2 types: the nicer ones with a large patio door (in which I was last year) which are very clean and nice, and the not so nice one... More
