Spent one night at this beautiful Resort on July 2nd, 2014. After being so dissapointed with the service received in Varadero, I was not expecting much from this place. To our surprise, This place was amazing from the moment we checked in till we departured. Staff is wonderful, from the cook to the General Manager. We had a wonderful time... More

This is my second stay at Rancho San Vincent. Last year I was very happy, this year.... It was not so good. First of all, the rooms are all bungalows. There are 2 types: the nicer ones with a large patio door (in which I was last year) which are very clean and nice, and the not so nice one... More

There are two types of room - try to get one of the newer ones. We moved to one of them after finding our room quite shabby and outdated. The newer room was fine but nothing special. We had breakfast and dinner included but the food was pretty poor. I got ill while staying there but that could obviously have... More

Just one night stay in this hotel. As others have said, you have to cross a bridge and lug your cases up steps before getting to the reception desk. Bungalows were clean, water for shower was piping hot, room safe but charged for it, plenty of power sockets some being 110v and others 220v which was good for all our... More

This hotel has a charming setting with an array of single cabins set in the woods around the main pool/bar/restaurant area. The staff was friendly (with the exception of the manager who sat in his office and shouted at the staff) and the food, by Cuban standards, was good. Unfortunately my husband and I were assigned to room 50 which... More

Lovely location amongst the trees, nice pool and helpful tour information without being pushy. Food is not great, but better when they do a buffet. This is a good place to stay for those that like independent travel, its not a plush luxurious resort, but has its own character.

When booking with Vijajes San Christobal in Havanna, we were insisting on staying in Vinales town. Were told that this was a such location. Ended up 8 km outside the one street town. Lived in old cottage in sore need of maintaince. Bad Food. Elctricity was on/off.The plus was the surrounding rain forrest. But found no way to enter it.

As part of our group tour we stayed here for two nights. The entrance to the hotel is rather odd, you need to go over a small bridge and then up the stair to end up at the pool and open bar. There are several different bungalows ranging in style and size. The rooms were a little on the small... More

Good basic hotel in interesting surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay here. We booked a half day horse ride through the valley, which was amazing. Also had a very good massage at the hotel. Good base for a few day stay in the area. Across the road there are two nice paladars for evening meals.

On arrival there was no electricity in just our room so we had to move. Try and use the pool before 9 in the morning or after 6 in the evening when all of the locals will have gone home. Rooms are in a very nice setting amongst the trees but it did smell of damp when we arrived. The... More
