In March last year, we had a wonderful stay in Vinales. We were sorry we stayed only for two nights. The food was delicious in this casa and the hospitality perfect. Vinales and surroundings have a lot to offer. Samuel helped us translating when we had a flat tire and needed to repair the tire. This casa and the hospitality... More

After 3 days in Havana, staying in a large hotel, we travelled to Vinales to see and learn more about the island. Elizabeth and Samuel provided everything we needed to do exactly that - a guide to drive us to the sights in the area, horses to take us to the tobacco fields and through the incredible countryside and of... We had only been in Cuba for 2 days before travelling to Vinales, so had no idea what to expect from our "Casa Particular". It was a huge relief to be shown to our large, airy bedroom with a spotlessly clean en-suite bathroom, after a delightful welcome from Elizabeth & her daughter- plus plenty of delicious chilled fruit-juice! Samuel arrived shortly... More

We were met off our coach by one of the family who helped us with the bags. Everything was nice and clean, a good breakfast and they were brilliant at organising activities for us. Out of all the casas we stayed at in Cuba, this was the best one. Elisabeth and Samuel are really giving it a go despite the... More

We spent 2 nights in this lovely casa. Accommodation was spotlessly clean - nice bedroom, en suite bathroom, dining room and terrace with rocking chairs. Elizabeth and Samuel couldn't do enough for us - lovely breakfasts, organised trips - horse riding, mountain biking, beach.... Samuel even carried some of our bags to the bus when we left. Overall it was a... More

I arrived on New Year's Eve to stay in Viñales for a few days. I had flu and was feeling miserable but Elisabeth & Samuel & their friends & family made me feel really welcome & looked after me while I was ill. They invited me to join them for their end of year celebrations & made me feel like... More

We stayed as a family of four with Elizabeth and Samuel after leaving Havana just before xmas. It was our first stay in a casa, and we had a very enjoyable two days there. The food was excellent, the rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped and the family were very welcoming. Unfortunately I got a tummy bug in Havana... More

We stayed with Samuel, Elisabeth and family in November and had a really enjoyable two days. We were made welcome from the very start, trips were arranged by Samuel to fit in exactly with what we wanted and we enjoyed being in the heart of the village sharing time with such friendly, loving people. We went horse riding through the... More

I was met at the bus by the grandfather and we arrived by short cut at the house. I had a lovely mojito while the lady of the house, Elizabeth, went through the paper work, passport, visa etc. The room was a a fine, self-contained unit with a separate dining area and its own entrance. There was even a safe... More

Samuel and 'Lizbeth were the nicest people we met in Cuba. They were so helpful for our short stay of 2 nights organising what to do and when. The food and drinks were also very good and reasonable in price. The only criticism was that the beds were the hardest I have ever tried to sleep on and the only... More
