Oscar, Leida and their wonderful family are the most welcoming and dedicated people you could possibly meet in Vinales. They really make you feel at home and will use their wide social network to help you get around Cuba. They are very open minded and like to share their life experience with travellers. They have a special fondness for climbers,... More

This is really a B&B not an hotel. It is an incredibly friendly, chaotic house with the family very much in evidence. Not much privacy but a warm insight into a lively and engaging Cuban family. Rooms and showers are not great but for a night or two its well worth it. Food tasty and service cheerful and timely.

Warmhearthed amazing people from Vinales are named Oscar and Leida! Vinales is a very charming village where we had lots of fun doing outdoor activities such as horse riding, biking, climbing and of course dancing Salsa! Oscar is a great cook, we had a very nice dinner; plus he prepared breakfast for us every morning! We highly recommend this casa... More

It's not the first time I went to Cuba. I did try few hotels but when in 2001 I met Oscar and stay at his place, I found a place to have a very good time. The family is my second family now. I'm coming back mostly each year for climbing. I like everything. They are caring for everyone at... More

I can't wait to visit again! A very charming family, excellent food, nice rooms. We will come back for sure! Oscar and Lleida are very nice, helpful, welcoming, like they were my grandparents. A perfect place for climbers to stay in Vinales. See you again soon, Oscar!!

Cuba’s charm is its people. The quickest way to meet them is to stay in the homes of Cubans who rent rooms. Almost any casa particular is better than a hotel. One casa particular in Viñales is exceptional. The house, amenities, and particularly the food are excellent, but it is the family of Oscar Jaime and Leida Robaina that become your... More

I booked a room just the day before I arrived, and Oscar met me at the bus stop. This is a great family, and Grandpa and me immediately hit it off, although I do not speak a word of spanish! I felt like a daughter in his house :-) The family does not speak english, so we had much fun... More

We had booked to stay at Oscars, but as it was full Oscar put us up next door in a lovely casa called Leon Leon Hernandez. The casa was situated 5 mins walk from the main road in the town, lovely quiet road. The casa was spotless, huge room, with aircon and ensuite. The front of the casa has rocking... More

Hey there, I stayed at Casa Oscar a few years ago with my wife The place was so cosy and the family simply amazing. We borrowed climbing Equipment from Oscar, received private salsa-lessons, went horse-back-riding and enjoyed the incredible great food. What more can you ask for? Friends of us stayed there last year and they say it´s still as... More

We booked four nights and stayed for two weeks. Comfortable and clean rooms, a large and friendly family, a lot of fresh and tasty food, and a relaxed atmosphere all made this a great place to stay. There is a good mix of guests, both climbers and non-climbers, and a great garden in which to socialise whilst eating. We plan... More
