I stayed with gap adventures for an authentic Cuban experience. I got that. There is a nice pool and friendly hotel staff. The woman who does the washing was really nice. The food is very basic and I really got fed up with it. The water stopped twice once when my friend was halfway through his shower. Quite far out... More

We were staying a couple of days in this location. Is a bit remote about 15km away from Viñales. Except the restaurant, nothing else was close for diner. The bungalows are reasonable but not well maintained. The pool was empty. The place is only good for overnight staying.

The hotel (cabins) lies on a remote location with a lot of chickens and dogs walking around. Breakfast was every morning the same (no buffet). Cabins quite small, but clean. Nice staff. During the day (until 17.00h) a lot of Cubans came to lie on the pool with very loud music. Luckely we were most of the day out, travelling... More

The bungalows are located in some kind of a park (there were dogs and chickens walking everywhere). - it gives its special “atmosphere” though. 20 km from Vinales. The (tiny) rooms are worn out, the bathroom disgusting – everything old and dusty. The swimming pool was dirty – full of leaves and dead insects, few sunbeds, the bar very expensive,... More

I wasn't expecting top notch accommodation in rural Cuba (I was on a group cycling tour) and this place was a little rough around the edges but fine. Good size pool which was just about clean enough!Lots of chickens, pigs, dogs, horses etc wandering around but all part of the fun! Main complaint would be that it is rather isolated... More

I stayed here one night during a group tour... no one got a good night's sleep. My room was the only one out of 10 where both the air conditioning and the hot water worked but the air conditioning was so noisy that it was impossible to sleep without earplugs. Those without aircon, however, reported that the road noise combined... More

Our group was bumped out of Hotel Soroa so that was a bad start compounded by many having to change rooms - terrible drain smells, locks not working and the inevitable Cuban plumbing problems. It is a wonderfully beautiful area and pool but the adjoining road is noisy unless you keep the aircon on to obliterate it. As for the... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during a GAP Adventures week-long tour of western Cuba. The hotel is located far enough outside Pinar del Rio city that if you don't have your own transportation you are stuck there. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, though. This 2.5 star resort has a decent restaurant which makes traditional Cuban dishes... More
