We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during a GAP Adventures week-long tour of western Cuba. The hotel is located far enough outside Pinar del Rio city that if you don't have your own transportation you are stuck there. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, though. This 2.5 star resort has a decent restaurant which makes traditional Cuban dishes plus a bar next to the pool that stays open fairly late (we went to bed before it closed both nights).
The rooms are arranged around the pool in bungalows. There are a total of 50 rooms, all of which are air conditioned and have their own private bathrooms (with shower only in our room, can't speak about the other rooms). Our room also had a TV, phone and 2 single beds. It was as far from the entrance as you could get, which wasn't so bad when we checked in and bell boys carried our luggage, but was a (literal) pain when we had to carry it back out of the property.
