If you don't mind being treated like naughty school children when you check in and check out you may like this. The food is not as good as school dinners though. And should the weather not be good, you are well and truly stuck on a tiny unwelcoming island, the staff shuffle about to their own agenda, the fact that... More

The Cayo Levisa accommodation was average with regards to quality. The service was not as welcoming as I had grown accustomed to after spending 3 weeks in Cuba. The villas were comfortable, but with some things not working (lights /air con). Hot shower was good though. My biggest disappointment was that I felt locked away on an island with no... More

The hotel is expanding with a lot of new infrastructures being constructed. Only has 2 starts but the new apartments deserve are least 4. The staff is nice, especially the animators. They have lots of activities during the day. Salsa lessons for example. Loved to walk trough the beach, within minutes I was alone feeling like I was in a desert... More

This was the last stop of our honeymoon. Upon arrival we were without running water until evening. The water hadn't arrived from the main land. We arrived at around 1130 we weren't offered any bottled water to compensate for the lack of running water which was disappointing. The weather while we were there wasn't great but even if it had... We stayed just one night in Hotel Cayo Levisa. Bungalow was all right, big enough and clean, but bungalows are wooden and we had couple upstairs, they woke up at 5 am and started walking up and down, so we could not sleep. If you are considering to stay there, ask for the apartment on the second floor, otherwise you... More

July 2003. Our family group of 3 adults and 2 children aged 4 and 6 stayed at the hotel for a week at the end of an adventure around Cuba. If you have to get a boat out to your hotel across crystal clear tropical waters it's always a bonus. We had 2 simple huts on the beach, which was... More

This was an absolutely disgusting hotel. We booked two nights and left after the first night. At first sight the hotel looks quite promising, nicely constructed with boardwalks to the cabanas. Entering the Cabana the room is quite simple, but alright. Bathrooms were old and had a permanent sewer smell. The worst part was that when we were asleep, a... More

LOCATION: the hotel is located on a wild beautiful island and I would suggest to everyone to visit. BUT do not expect too much from the hotel. FOOD: is unvaried and tasteless (and you get the same food for every lunch and every dinner). On the second day, I had mildewed bread on my plate and I don't know how... More

After reading previous reviews we were not expecting too much, but were very pleasantly surprised. I travelled with my partner and one of our friends and we were allocated two lovely wooden cabins next door to each, within just metres of the most beautiful beach. There were two places to eat, the main air-conditioned restaurant serving buffet food, with a... More

Cayo Levisa is a wonderfull place to go to. It feeks like your own island. The water is beautifull blue, calm and very warm. Definitely worth a stay for at least one night. In the evening there's music and you can try some salsa moves. You have to be aware of the following (but don't let it scare you): 1.... More
