Cayo Levisa the island is beautiful however I wouldn't recommend staying on the island. The room we had was right on the beach, clean and spacious however the lights didn't work and the door wouldn't lock from the inside. The food was better than I expected having read other reviews but I would still only describe it as average. As... More

The island is only accessible by boat, there is a ferry to take you over. There's nothing there other than the hotel, consisting of separate cabins, and the restaurant which is a seafood-lover's paradise. Must do.

The island is a great location, but visit it on a day trip as the hotel is a mess. The three days we were there we had running brown water only for a few minutes a day (usually around 9 p.m.). So the rest of the day no shower hand washing, toilet flushing. The noise level from the generator (all... More

We stayed in one of the smaller (but I think newer) cabins located near the end of the resort. It was a 5 minute walk to the restaurant area, but it also meant that the beach near the cabin was basically deserted. Day-trippers usually don't venture away so far from the central area. The cabins were well-kept and had everything... More

Hôtel is renoving. Go now, it will be so expensive. Good points: - restaurant staff. - room - beach - cocktails Bad points: - reception and boat staff - air conditioning noise - food. - costs of excursions. The most bad thing is that the hotel seems more for the staff than for the guests. Animator playing card with friend... More

This Christmas I travelled to Cuba with my partner to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We mainly stayed in Casa's which are peoples homes which were absolutely amazing but decided as it was a special celebration we should treat ourselves with a beautiful stay on a remote island for the end of the trip. To get to Cayo Levisa we... More

The beach is absolutely beautiful and the hotel is actually a series of cabins on the seafront. Ours was clean and well-maintained, with modern facilities and a fantastic bathroom suite. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the pina coladas were second to none. The food has some room for improvement, but overall I was very impressed and would... More

On the plus side - Spectacular sunsets, turquoise blue waters, white sandy beaches, amazing lightning storms, plentiful sun lounges, delicious grilled dinners, friendly customer service. On the negative – unreliable water service – potentially hours without running water, poor maintenance of cabins and facilities, few activities. The standard of accommodation varies greatly – older cabins have pleasant beach views and... More

Cayo Levisa is definitely a pretty beach. If you want to relax for a day or two this is a good place to do so. Food is not the best for the price you pay / night at this hotel. I wanted to go diving however there was only equipment for 2 divers/dive! Bungalows were really amazing but the water... More

Arrived from Vinales in a wonderful old red vintage car to catch the boat over to the Island. Initial impressions were mixed, lots of day trippers and a wait for our room but once the last boat left we relaxed and began to enjoy our surroundings. Our huts 22 & 23 were right on the beach and very peaceful. Loved... More
