Lovely location on the Atlantic with fab views and nicely built blocks with the highest amount of private pools I've ever seen. There are so many issues with this place it's shocking for a newly built/renovated hotel. They have a serious issue with their A/C as in. it is none existent! Every room is the same, trust me, we tried... More

We went to stay at The Crane Resort after getting a great deal from the Jetsetter website. I will preface by saying that for $200 a night, this resort cannot be beat. It has gorgeous views and the rooms are huge and spaceous. However, if you are used to staying at nicer resorts, this will probably disappoint. It is beautiful... More

Stayed here for four nights in April 2010. We had a good time. The "villa" we rented was huge, very well appointed and comfortable, although the air conditioning struggled to get the temperature below 75F, a problem that other visitors have highlighted. (we were in building 8). The beach is excellent if you want to relax in the sun and... More

We won the free 104.5 Chum Trip from Toronto. It was a large group of winners and we met lots of people there. On top of it all got to travel with the Chum Fm crew and we met Baranaked Ladies and New Kids on the Block. We also met Jaicko. Overall the resort is stunning. Beautiful views. The food... More

This was our second trip to the Crane and we were worried it wouldn't be as great as our first but it was even better. We didn't rent a car this time and took a cab to the resort $30us. Check in is a little draggy as they shuffle you over to the bar to wait for someone to come... More

We just got back from a visit to the Crane and all I can say is it is beyond amazing- the service was immpecable, the accomadations beautiful and the food was amazing. I had read on here that the food at l'azure was not that great- how untrue that is- we had three meals there each one better than that... More

Recently spent a fabulous week with girlfriends at The Crane Reort in Barbados and it was paradise. The resort is beautifully situated, and the views of the sea and the pools/palm trees/foliage breathtaking. Even though there is a serious drought affecting the island, it did not detract from the overall beauty. Restaurants on site (Japanese, Italian and continental) all excellent.... More

we have just returned after staying for a week at the Crane. It was wonderful, and yes, some of the beach had been washed away but we noticed that it was being washed back and yes, the grounds were brown but Barbados, we were told, has had no rain since November and it would be irresponsible for the Crane Hotel... Stayed there for a week; first two nights in building 3 were a nightmare: so called A/C was just an air circulation with fans. No sleep with 30 degrees Celcius in the room. They sent people to "fix it" three times without any change. After multiple complaints we finally could have a new room thanks to manager Paul. We were... More

Pros: We had a large, tastefully decorated suite that included a kitchenette and a balcony with lounge chairs. We even had a bit of an ocean view, although we hadn't asked for it. The beach was beautiful, although it would be a stretch to rank it among the top 10 beaches of the world, as claimed on the hotel website.... More
