Beautiful resort with everything you need. Rooms are wonderful. Our room had our own private plunge pool off our balcony. The pool (or should I say pools) are huge and kept extremely clean. The grounds are wonderful! The private beach is an extra that we didn’t count on. The beach sits below the cliff. There is an elevator that will... More

Outstanding hotel and residential complex, vastly developed and upgraded from its origins as the oldest hotel in the Carribbean (where Ian Fleming wrote James bond novels) by its Canadian owner Paul Doyle. Set in a glorious seascape on the Atlantic. Helpful and friendly staff.

Totally incredible. We stayed in an ocean view apartment with plunge pool and it was gorgeous. Everything you could want and more. Amazing sea views, huge bed, Jacuzzi bath. The beach and restaurants were wonderful.

My husband and I stayed at the Crane Resort in late June/early July 2014 for our honeymoon and have not been able to stop talking about our stay! The restaurants were all amazing as well as the staff. We spent most of our time by the pools (since we did not have a private one of our own) and it... More

Firstly, its very close to the airport, the hotel is huge, operating at close to maximum capacity but still has lots of privacy. large grounds and amazing pools. the beach is a bit rough but its Barbados plenty of beaches, no sweat! the rooms are large close to 1100 square feet and some rooms have its own pool on balcony... We stayed here for our honeymoon last May(2013) and we had a fabulous time. We booked through RCI and got a early booking special with breakfast included every morning. This breakfast was amazing and the service was perfect in one of the popular restaurants. In advanced, I scheduled a couples massage and a pick up the from the airport through... More

I am an American who is a frequent flyer to Barbados. My family and friends went to the Crane and we treated poorly. They are very biased towards travelers from certain areas... The waitress was rude, not only did she count the cash in front of us (as if we were not going to pay our bill in its entirety,... More

Dear Businesswmn, I’m not quite sure what is the meaning of “travelers from certain areas” but what you seem to be implying certainly does not ring true. We at The Crane make no distinction between guests – everyone is warmly welcomed to experience all that the resort has to offer. Furthermore, it is customary for wait staff to count all... More

We are regular visitors to The Crane which we clearly enjoy. If anything things are getting better. There is now in place a rolling plan to completely decorate/upgrade the apartments. Our apartment had been painted from top to bottom and the chairs and sofas completely recovered. I understand there are plans for further refurbishment throughout the whole complex. The gardens... My wife and two children just completed a two week stay at the Crane. It is a lovely resort overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the rugged quieter east coast of Barbados. As others have mentioned, there are limited choices in terms of restaurants near the hotel. If you would like to explore the island (which I would recommend) or have... More

Recently stayed at The Crane for our 40th wedding anniversary with friends and family. From the moment we arrived, the service was first rate. Karen helped us arrange accommodations and was so friendly that I felt like I knew her when we arrived. The rooms were amazingly well-equipped and large. We had both the ocean view and garden view with... More
