I have stayed here twice whilst working locally and it was a great place to sleep and get a shower. Great local nightlife unfortunately placed me the second stay on the ground floor across the restaurant. So had to walk through the restaurant whilst people were eating

I stayed here for a couple of nights and found it to be a relaxing comfortable bed and breakfast that was also pretty good value for money. The rooms have everything you need including wi-fi and I slept well in the comfy bed on the both nights I stayed. It's just a stone's throw from the main street, but it's... More

I stayed just one night on a business trip to Newtown. First thing to note is very much a bed and breakfast place and not an hotel so do not expect 5 star facilities. What you get is a warm welcome, a comfortable room with tea making facilities and a fridge. The furnishing are a little dated but are fine... More

Wonderful stay here for four nights. Would stay again. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Location is one block to town and taxi next door. Breakfast was typical English style and always hot and on time. This is a good b&b and a value for the money.

A very nice B&B. Comfortable, convenient, well priced with a great breakfast. Wifi and SkyTV in the rooms, if you need that, too! Absolutely no problems whatsoever and I would not hesitate in returning.

We enjoyed our stay at Yesterdays Bed & Breakfast in Newtown. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. An older refurbished building, quiet and quaint. Breakfast was prepared to order and always ready at the requested time. I had a family gathering to organize and initally did not have much success booking over the internet but thanks to Moyra and... More

Newtown has a compact centre, and you feel in the middle of everything here. I enjoyed watching people walking to work as we enjoyed a good cooked breakfast on a leisurely Monday morning! Advice on eating and drinking freely given - there are at least 3 good pubs in a 7-8 minute walk - and yes, the price of this... More

Just had a 3 night stay at yesterdays and it is a very good place to stay. The room was spaceous, clean and warm. There were many extra touches and great to have a fridge in the room. Generous and well presented breakfasts. I loved the beams and the creaky floors and the town clock is not a problem. I would... More

Visit my bf's family and friends here, my bf has looked around and see this guesthouse has the highest ratings in terms of the cleanliness. The house is quite old, hundreds years old and was recently renovated, in a few years maybe? Funny that sometimes when you step on some area on the floor, will have a bit squeaky sound... More

Like MissK83 I too stayed at Yesterdays on business, and it was perfectly fine. I really only met Moyra who was very pleasant and helpful, suggesting where I might go for an evening meal (see separate entry under Mirren's). As I was leaving very early the next morning (before 6:30am) she made sure I was able to have breakfast. I... More
