I feel sorry for the staff at the Westminster. First of all, it was our fault for going to Rhyl in the first place, which is not a nice place to be - but unfortunately the last available place that still had rooms at the last minute on an August bank holiday. The town itself was like a ghost town,... More

We have recently returned from another good holiday with 'Just Go'. We stayed at the Westminster Hotel on the sea front at Rhyl. The staff were all very friendly and we had entertainment each evening. Our room was on the top floor, the lift only went to the third floor so we did have stairs too climb. The room was... More

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Westminster, it's our third stay in the past 5 years. The hotel is quite dated, yes it may be 2 stars but we have always found the staff friendly and helpful. The Westminster has it's own traditional seaside charm. Dog friendly and the restaurant staff were... More

My 5 days at the Westminster were very satisfactory. Staff friendly and helpful and the waiting staff GREAT. My room was a smallish single, but quite sufficient for anyone's needs, i also had a perfect sea view which was a bonus. The food was all freshly cooked and a good choice was available. Some people may have faulted it for... More

This hotel is in a perfect location for all amenities such as the town centre, promenade, cafe's and bars. The room we were allocated was on the small size and asked to be upgraded which we were able to do but this room was slightly bigger and had a sea view at an extra cost of £10 per night. The... More

Was supposed 2 stay 1 night ended up staying for 2 as it was great value for money. We paid 120 pound 4 2 nights and had a free breakfast. The hotel is old fashioned but is very clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Felt at home from start to finish would definitely go again.... More

Stayed 3 nights with Newmarket Holidays. A great base for a North Wales Holiday, Its old but clean, Great Staff especially the Waitresses, good wholesome food, only two criticisms, the spirits at the bar are not all the same strength and the bacon at breakfast is tough, just two little complaints for a really great stay

Recently back from a few days in Rhyl at the Westminster while on a coach holiday. While this is not a very modern establishment it is comfortable, friendly and fun. Our room was clean and adequate and, importantly, everything worked. Clearly the staff and owners make a big effort to keep their guests happy - and it shows. Mealtimes were... More

Booked this as a dog friendly short break. Hotel dated - bathroom had been modernised, room ok. Two nights cost £80 bed and breakfast with gogroopie but third night cost £65 plus £15 for our dog - £160 not really worth it. Pillows were that thin we had three each. Couldn't open windows. Car park very small. Lift holds 2... More

I stayed here middle Sept 2014, for 2 nights with my daughter, we stayed in room 31, this was an upgraded sea view room, and it was beautiful. In the room there was double bed, single bed, double wardrobe, chest of draws, 2 bedside units, and a tea/coffee making area. I was most impressed with the quantity of the tea... More
