We felt relaxed and comfortable from the outset. Isabel is a very welcoming host with a fabulous sense of humour. Clean and comfortable room with a shower and a bath... Perfect to soak those limbs after a wee cycle about. Tarbert has plenty to offer food and drink wise... Although you probably wouldn't need lunch after the big cooked breakfast... More

We ended up at The Cuillins by chance. My husband and I were on a bicycle tour in Scotland in August (2014) and the day we stayed here we were actually meant to go to the Isle of Islay. However, the ferry was cancelled due to bad weather (which we knew all about having just ridden in it). We needed... More

For oue Family Holiday this year we decided to visit Scotland and take advantage of the Five Ferries Tour to go around a couple of the Islands around the west of Glasgow. As the ticket is valid for 2 days I needed an overnight stop somewhere. After a lot of rejections I was starting to worry but then received my... More

We arrived late in the evening to Cullin's B&B after getting the last ferry back from Islay. We were all given a very warm welcome, and offered a cup of tea despite it being so late. We had the family room which was beautifully decorated, and accommodated our baby and dog too. Isobel didn't mind us having a late breakfast... More

Home from home, stayed here a couple of times and I would highly recommend it, Bella is very welcoming and she makes a fantastic breakfast, will definitely be back! This is a great base for touring the area or just staying in Tarbert.

We were made very welcome, especially our aging dog. A little bit difficult to find, but follow the signs, first into Lady Ileene road, then taking first left into Baron Road, Cuillins is about 200 yards - just go straight up their drive. Double Bedroom with en-suite lovely and clean and great views, Breakfast overfilled the huge plates - enough... More

Stayed here 2 nights at the start of our Kintyre Way walk. Isobel was a super generous host - the days began with the biggest bowls of fresh fruit anyone could ever wish for (and not a tinned citrus in sight!) Our first day of walking was very wet and Isobel kindly dried our sopping clothes. A warm, homely welcome... More

This lovely B&B is located in the small fishing town of Tarbert, a few miles from the Kennacraig ferry port – ideal to fit in with early or late crossings. The house belongs to the lovely Isabel who will give you the warmest welcome and attend to your every need with a big smile and not a little drama. We... More

My husband and I spent two nights here while walking the Kintyre Way. It was perfect- a comfortable and clean room, a quiet setting though only 5 minutes walk from town, and most importantly, a fabulous hostess who went out of her way to accommodate our needs and who has a great knowledge of where to go in Tarbert. We... More
