Excellent staff who could not do enough to ensure you enjoyed your stay. Great breakfasts coupled with interesting Dinner menu. Fantastic base to explore Argyll and Islands. Manager runs a good team and Rose behind the bar is sure to help you in your choice of a good malt.

Wonderful position with small but well furnished and modern rooms. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff but spoilt by a number of little but irritating issues eg only full fat milk, no natural yogurt, no real beer, toast appearing without asking what sort, no fresh tea just out of a communal pot etc. Quite expensive as well.

We booked into this hotel, as it was the nearest venue to the 10k run which was taking place 30 miles away in Campbell. It is located in a very picturesque port with art galleries dotted around. The first thing to note is that this is a small hotel and therefore does not have lifts to take you to the... More

We only stayed 1 night but can thoroughly recommend this to anyone. The hotel was very clean and tidy, with excellent taste. Staff were outstanding and very keen to please. Following a small issue with 1 meal, staff went out of their way to remedy the situation, and did. The lady in charge was particularly good. The food was very... More

Stayed here one night on way to Islay food great and very comfortable sea view rooms are fantastic Breakfast was a bit of a problem the smoked salmon was lost so scrambled eggs eaten unaccompanied and because of the wait a little rubbery...but I'm sure that was a one off. Would def stay again

We visited Scotland with another couple on a group tour of the main land and the Isle of Arran. We stopped at Tarbert, an adorable harbor town, on the way to the ferry for the Isle of Arran. We were given an hour for lunch, so we quickly had a find a place to eat, and stumbled across the Sea... More

We had two rooms across the hall for each other myself and hubby in one and the kids next door. We had a little trouble getting the heating working in the kids room but the lady on reception was helpful and installed a fan heater while fixing the radiator. Deco is lovely and the room had everything you would expect... More

Most probably the best boutique and chic hotel in this lovely harbour town. Rooms well decorated and restaurant feels smart and upmarket ( food good too). But we found the service a little clumsy and amateurish. E.g. First choice of wine was not available and handled badly. No good bye and thanks on checkout. That being said it would still... More
