I booked this via the laterooms website and then checked tripadvisor - so was somewhat apprehensive. The hotel is being refurbished but should really be closed whilst they sort it out. Stayed one night . looks great on the outside, run down on the inside, good polish staff, food was ok...but £125 each for the room, dinner and breakfast an then no hot water!! .....what a joke more

Lovely setting, hotel looks better in the evening - in a less forgiving light the place is a bit shabby, but not dreadful. However, the cooked Scottish breakfast was inedible, and smelt appalling. This hotel could be magnificent... it is, alas, extremely poor... basically the place has been left to rot: the rooms are furnished and decorated disastrously, the plumbing is (I genuinely believe) a health risk, the food is ... erm.. up there with the plumbing...
