Attended a wedding over three days. Arrived Friday afternoon and was taken aback by the hotel and it's gardens. it also has an island that you can walk out to via a causeway. We had a ground floor room as we had dogs with us and it permitted easy access to the gardens. Room was well equipped and en-suite. You... More

We are leaving today after an excellent two nights stay. Brilliant food and well worth staying a few nights to explore the menu. The staff in particular have been wonderful, excellent service all round. The hotel setting is beautiful, well worth waiting for a window table with spectacular views. We will definitely be returning.

Stayed one night in the "wing". Yes rooms were tired and damp patches on the roof but it was very quiet, shower was very powerful, bed firm (albeit 2 singles pushed together) and all clean. On the basis that I spend 90% of the time in a room with my eyes closed it was perfect. £50 upgrade for large first... More

This hotel has great charm and splendid views over Loch Fyne. The staff were very friendly and professional and the food was marvellous. Tough choices at breakfast with the option of eggs benedict of Loch Fyne kippers!

I've just returned from this beautiful hotel after staying there for two nights for a wedding and can honestly say the Stonefield Castle Hotel provided an incredible experience. The rooms were clean and tidy, all of the food was genuinely excellent and the staff were all lovely. Then there are the surroundings! The view from my room overlooking the Loch... More

My husband and I stayed at Stonefield the first night we were in Scotland. The room was traditional, cozy and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. By far, dinner here was the BEST meal we experienced in Scotland. There was one individual who made our experience very special. Jossef C. is undoubtably a master! His knowledge of the... More
