This was far from a "normal" holiday by any stretch of the imagination as four of us (all men) ended up sharing the "Honeymoon Suite" here at the Falcons Nest. This was because we were there to watch the "Classic TT" motorcycle races. Hotel space is at a premium on the island during race weeks and as such no hotels... More

Although very 'affordable' I would not return to the hotel. The walls were so thin I could here the guest in the next room snoring all night. There were kids outside at 1am shouting and screaming. The room was old fashioned and tired.

Back in the Falcon's Nest after 5 years or so. Pleased to report that a considerable amount of re-decoration and improvements have been done since then although it has to be said that more still needs to be done. The hotel easily reaches it's 2 star rating (in fact I would say it should be a 3 star). It does... More

We appreciate your review and glowing praise for our food. Can you contact me to let me know which room you were in as we thought we had replaced the mystery uncomfortable bed - we must have had two! More

We have been visiting the Island for many years but this was the first time that we had stayed in the Falcon's Nest. From the very outset of booking through to the reception and stay we were most impressed. We had a week of pure pleasure. Thank you. If there was complaint it was the fact that whilst the food was... More

This was my first trip to the Isle of Man, it was a late booking and I just wanted a short break somewhere I've never been before. I chose the Isle of Man the week after the TT and I struck gold at the Falcons Nest. I was made very welcome which, as a lone traveller, is always a blessing.... More

This hotel is in a great area with fantastic views if you're lucky enough to get a room with a view. We did on the top floor but the window was dirty so kind of spoiled the view a bit. The room & bathroom were clean and ok, but I have to say the bed was soooo uncomfortable!!! My husband... More

Thank you for letting us know about your bed we have ordered a new mattress that will arrive any time now. The view is spectacular across the bay from the front rooms but unfortunately the salt in the air does make the windows dirty when the wind gets up. The window cleaners do a good job but are prebooked and... More

We spent four night at The Falcons Nest Hotel in the last week of July 2014 during the heatwave. We had room two overlooking the bay and harbour. The view was to die for with lots going on below and the most beautifull sunsets. With the windows open it was magical to listen to the waves crashing-in on the beach... More

My wife and I spent two nights there, and what a cracking little find. Yes, some parts of the hotel maybe a little tired, but this is more than made up by amiable staff, clean rooms, a cracking buffet breakfast, and good wholesome beers in the main bar. Does need new towels though! Thanks Falcon ' Nest.

Stayed here for 4 nights after our hotel in Castletown let us down. The Falcons Nest is in a great location overlooking the beach. It is an old building, looking a bit dated decor-wise and there is no lift, but otherwise it was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff pleasant and helpful. Would stay here again.

Had a one night stop at this hotel while on a cycling holiday around the Isle of Man. Good room, food and friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. The restaurant, food and drinks of good quality.
