My wife and I stayed at the Falcons Nest mid-June and were delighted with the quality of the food, the standard of service, and the room comfort and cleanliness. A special thanks to the housekeeping staff who, in addition to working ceaselessly to keep the guest rooms and public rooms so clean, were able to operate the TV in the... More

The worst food I has ever com across. The mussels shells were empty or fully closed. The sauce was bitter. The beef pie was burnt and rock solid. The second attempt was little better. I was told it was the regular chef. My advice - avoid at all costs. The staff were apologetics but the food was poor beyond belief.

We have hundreds of happy diners every week and sell vast amounts of mussels and our home-made steak pie and regret that you were not satisfied with your meal on this occasion. We are delighted that the three guests with you enjoyed their meal and we invite you to eat with us again to provide you with a positive dining... More

In parts, our stay at the Falcons Nest Hotel in Port Erin was very good; in other ways, this was a throwback to the bad old days of staying in British hotels, and I remain disgusted by our treatment on our second night there. First, the good bits - the breakfast offered was way better than anticipated, faultless really, with... More

Had a lovely lunch here .the food was lovely ,unfortunately the waiting on staff let the place down with silly mistakes .i e no sugar for my coffee ,no salt or salad dressing on another table and we ordered ice cream and was given cream on our crumble instead . So we will give it another try .

Warm comfortable room with good breakfast and sea view over Port Erin beach. Room contained tea and coffee making, TV, hairdryer and en-suite bathroom with bath, toilet and shower and shaver socket. Excellent hot and cold breakfast was included with plenty of choice.

iCharacterful hotel, with beautiful sea views from the conservatory restaurant, room clean and comfortable. Safe excellent off-street parking. Food good, particularly breakfast. Saff friendly and efficient. Here comes the "but" Steep stairs, long corridors, and neither passenger lift nor stairlifts. Absolutely unsuitable for anyone who has trouble with stairs. Perhaps the first floor rooms might be managed, but no higher.... More

Came here looking for a place for a light lunch. Restaurant looked closed so wondered into terraced area by the bar. We couldn't figure if food was available and despite looking rather lost no one came to offer us custom of any kind so we aborted the mission and went somewhere else.

I am most surprised that this customer was not attended to immediately. This is our MGP week and one of our busiest so staffing is extremely high. Unfortunately the customer did not inform us of the time he called into the hotel or how long he waited. We do not wish to lose any custom but would inform the public... More
