We had 1 night at the RN, beautiful home to Chris and Gill. So welcoming and friendly. The RN is set in an idyllic position with views that leave you speechless. In the morning you can hear the church chiming, birds chirping as the morning sun peeped through the curtains. Tea, coffee, home - made biscuits all in the room,... More

We first visited Rookery Nook a few years back & fell in love with Shere, the B&B itself and hosts Chris & Jillie (not to mention the amazing breakfast). We have just had about our tenth visit having had withdrawal symptoms from not visiting for a couple of years! It is so relaxing and the perfect base for cycling, running,... More

This weekend we spent 3 nights in this tranquil little B&B. It was my 8th stay there, and not my last if its up to me! We arrived on Friday morning, checked in, got a warming cup of tea and a nice chat. The perfect welcoming after a loong morning with Ryanair and Hertz... We got the lovely room with... More

We stayed at Rookery Nook for two nights and enjoyed both the area, the village and the very comfortable B&B. The warm welcome and lots of helpful suggestions for walks and dinner places were highly appreciated and followed. Woke up to lovely breakfasts - best ever scrambled eggs! Only minus was having to share the bathroom, but both bathroom and... More

We stayed a night in Rookery Nook whilst house-hunting in the Surrey Hills. The owners were friendly, the village was picturesque and the room and accommodation were beautiful. Our only regret is that, now we live in the area, we're unlikely to be staying again!

I took my boyfriend to the Surrey Hills for his birthday to do some mountain biking and Rookery Nook was the ideal base for the night before. Shere is a stunning village and Rookery Nook is the prettiest b&b I have seen in a long time! Chris and Jill were really helpful from the start, suggesting where to rent bikes... More

This is the third time we've visited Rookery Nook in under 12 months! It really is the perfect escape from London for the weekend. The village of Shere is stunning and there's no better place to see it all from than the Nook! The owners, Chris and Jill, are both amazing and make you feel very welcome from the moment... More

We stayed in the rookery nook for 3 nights. And I must say one of the most loveliest and relaxing places I have ever stayed. Besides it being the most charming and cosy house , Chris and Jill made us feel so welcome. This lovely couple made us feel at home , and also made pretty fantastic breakfast. This cosy... More
