Marvellous hosts, lovely rooms, comfortable beds and delicious breakfast. All the little extras which come so naturally here are what makes it a cut above others. Would highly recommend a stay here and will certainly return when visiting the area again.

Nothing really to add over and above what previous reviewers have said. All top class and great value for money! Quality of accommodation exactly what we were hoping for. Warmth of welcome was what made the stay even more special. An extra tip - take a stroll to the nearby Mr Moo's Ice Cream Parlour!

Village Farm B&B is a perfect example of first class service and accommodation - we were very well looked after by the owner Chrysta, who even brought us a tray of tea on arrival and gave us delicious cake on departure! The room was very well appointed, better than some luxury hotels I've stayed in in terms of provisions and... More

I notice that all the reviews for this lovely little establishment give it 5 stars, and I am certainly not going to buck that trend. The room was really comfortable, and spacious, the food (we had dinner and breakfast) was imainative, beautifully prsented and excellent to eat. Chrysta was more like a long-lost friend than a proprietor, and fully deserves all... More

I'm not normally driven to write reviews, but in this case I'm really happy to make an exception. This B&B is amazing. My wife and I stayed for two nights at the end of November, and we were made welcome from start to finish. The room was clean, bright and fresh, with a comfortable bed, and at a pleasant temperature.... More

Beautiful accommodation within a special environment. Hospitality absolutely first class from the second I arrived to the moment I left, they could not have been more friendly or accommodating, going above and beyond anything expected to help. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, well prepared local produce. I was visiting the area to look at houses and in the morning,... More

We stayed at the Village Farm B&B back in 2011 and decided it was time to return. We now are the proud owners of a camper van so although we didnt stay over in their rooms we walked the mile and a half with friends to sample their afternoon tea. We were made so welcome and Chrysta remembered us from... More

From the moment we arrived till we left we were made to feel we were important by both Crysta and her mum. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was luxurious . Breakfast's were both plentiful and freshly cooked. Don't have any doubts book and stay here. It was so good we'll be back next year. The farewell gift... More

Thank you so much for your review. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and it was lovely to chat about our old stomping ground in Kent over breakfast. I hope you are able to return and explore more of Yorkshire. All the best Chrysta More

We were visiting friends at the local holiday park and decided to stay over. I have never stayed in any kind of guest house or farm before as we generally stay in 4* hotels but as this was located just a couple of miles away we decided to give it a go. We guess you can thank Four in a... More

Thank you for your review. I am so glad that we were able to meet your expectations and seem to have turned you from the bigger hotels - us small B&B's can often give the hotels a real run for their money! It was lovely to have you here for my birthday and to share some Bucks Fizz for breakfast.... More

This was our second stay at this wonderfully welcoming luxury bed and breakfast which prides itself on its exceptional standards of cleanliness, service and value. What makes Village Farm unique however is Chrysta! Chrysta is a gifted amateur chef who created a truly delightful vegetarian dinner for us. Chrysta would be a very worthy contender on Masterchef.
