Our room was very spacious and clean. It is a short drive to town, where we had dinner at a small pub with a huge meal. Close to Roman museum and a short stroll from there to look at part of Hadrian's Wall. Would loved to have stayed longer, our host were very welcoming and friendly.

What an enjoyable one night stay in the beautiful place of Haltwhistle. The owners made our stay feel very homely and went the extra mile to make sure we were okay with our little one. The room was large and you could just tell that every little detail had been thought of. Including free coffee, biscuits, shower products all the... More

My wife and I cycled the Hadrian's Wall trail over half term, from Ravenglass to Newcastle (we missed the last bit). We stayed in some lovely places along the way but Wydon Farm was the best - everything about the service here is based on genuine concern to make your stay enjoyable. And this is on top of running a... More

We had a one night stay after a day walking in Kielder. Everything top notch. It's a 5 minute drive from the road along a drive over two or three cattle grids. Ate dinner in Haltwistle but be warned the pub stops serving food at 8pm

For the perfect location between the Lake District and the Roman Wall, you couldn't find a better place to stay. The room was one of three in a beautiful barn conversion. The room perfect, with touches not even found in some first class hotels -fresh coffee with cafetiere, mini fridge, pink lemonade.... The shower spacious, toiletries lovely, towels plentiful and... Beautiful countryside and lovely rural location. Our instructions to find the B & B were perfect. We had a very spacious and comfortable room in a converted farm building alongside the farm house. The room had beams, a 4 poster bed and Jacuzzi bath with instant hot water. Our host was very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our... More

Lovely people, lovely surroundings, I could of stayed for longer' was walking Hadrian's Wall so only stayed for 1 night, our bedroom was superb, in fact beautiful. With tired feet and hungry bellies this lovely couple went out of their way to drive us to either the wall or a restaurant, on top of this their breakfast in the morning... More

We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome in this gorgeous B & B that is situated in the most stunning location. We were picked up & dropped off at the station by the owners. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotlessly clean with a four poster bed & Jacuzzi bath. Just perfect. We really wished we... More

Arrived here with the dog wet and miserable. The welcome and accommodation soon changed that. We were accommodated in what was effectively a small cottage which had all facilities. Being a couple of miles outside haltwhistle was not ideal but we were transported to and from haltwhistle in the evening, offered to us without having to ask. The breakfast was... More
