An excellent place to stay for exploring Hadrian's Wall. The room was lovely and the breakfast wonderful. Kristen is the perfect hostess, so welcoming & helpful. It was lovely to come in and find a tray set out ready for a cup of tea with fresh milk. Would definitely stay here again.

This was an excellent place for exploring Hadrian's Wall. We stayed two nights and enjoyed good breakfasts, a comfortable room, and a fine restaurant within walking distance of the Grey Bull. Kristen was a very helpful hostess, arranging a taxi for our trip to the Wall and recommending restaurants. We would stay here again.

Recently spent three nights at The Grey Bull. First rate all the way. A very friendly guesthouse. I get the impression that if I'd casually asked Kristen & Richard for a pygmy african elephant trained to play bridge they'd have found one before noon. Excellent breakfast.
