Booked a table of 16 to celebrate a 90th birthday, we had pre ordered as it was valentines evening and we knew they would be busy. Food was excellent and staff could not have been more accommodating. We had the back room to ourselves which is great for small functions, they had no problem with us decorating with balloons and... More

We ended up in the Manor House Inn for lunch as there wasn't anywhere else open, as it was two days after Christmas Day!! The place wasn't particularly busy so wasn't sure what to expect. As my hubby and I were visiting from NZ we decided to have the local dish of the very large Yorkshire pudding filled with mashed... More

We were waiting in the bar area, for some staff to show up, as we wanted to have lunch. About four minutes later, someone sat us, and offered us the menus, and told us that they were working with very limited menu, as they were very busy over the weekend. She told us to have a look to the menu,... More

We went here as a group and had the set xmas menu for £22. This consists of a glass of sparkling wine on arrival but a couple of us asked for dry white and red as an alternative and they were very happy to do this. A starter, a main meal, a desert and coffee and mints. The food was... More

We found this village on our way to Newcastle. The inn was a typical English pub and we were surprised at the quality of the food. The waitress was very pleasant and we would visit again should we be in the area

We had lunch here on our way from Newcastle to Glasgow. Haltwhistle was a nice village just off the A69. Friendly staff provided proper English lunch with great homemade chips in authentic pub surroundings. Would visit again.

looking for somewhere to have lunch and turned into Haltwhistle and happened on this wonderful place. The service was friendly, the food was delicious and the surroundings were pleasant. The Yorkshire Pudding served with mashed potatoes and Cumberland Sausages in it and gravy poured over it was delicious and looked as good as it tasted. Will definitely be back here!!
