The Manor House only has a few rooms but we stayed with them in early September 2012. The room was on the third floor with no lift, but was very nice and clean. Slept very well. The hotel has a very nice pub in the hotel and a restaurant as well. Very comfortable rest for the price.

A more friendly staff you could not meet. Breakfast very good. Set you up for doing 18 mile walksalong wall. Car park at rear is very small but safe. Room very clean. Place could do with updating. Stayed for 3 nights in comfortable, spotlessly clean room no1. Excellent shower and very comfy bed. Breakfast first class and we ate in the bar 3 nights running as the menu choices suited us well. The Inn is well placed for walking Hadrian's wall and the Hadrian's wall bus AD122 picks up in Haltwhistle.

A one off excursion to walk (part of) Hadrians Wall and surrounding villages led us to the MHI. A very comfortable room that had recently been updated, nice and warm to dry off our clothing! and a VERY hearty breakfast. Off road secure parking was key for my wifes new car (!) and the staff were great. Would use again.

Stayed for two nights, Room was clean and comfy, Ideal for a base - used as we wanted to visit Blenkinsopp Castle and walk to Hadrian's wall. friendly staff - busy at the weekend as it is a pub, Breakfast was very nice plenty of options. We would stay there again if in the area.

This was our second stay at the Manor House Inn, this time for our daughter's wedding. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked and plentiful. Typical pub atmosphere and the owners are really friendly. Had a couple of meals in the evenings which were superb. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

What a wonderful stay we had at the Manor, such warm and friendly staff who looked after us superbly. The food was to a very high standard and excellant value, the homemade sunday roast was to die for, quite simple the best we have tasted.
