We had our sons 10th birthday here and they had an amazing time. Everything was there ready for us going. 1hrs fun time in the pool and an hour in the cabin and play area. Nothing was too much trouble for them and if you have forgotten anything they are happy to supply you with it, for us it was... More

Glendale Mews is a beautiful cottage, perfect for a couple. The cottage was modern throughout, the kitchen area was excellent with brand new appliances, the newly added conservatory was lovely and provided a nice quiet seating area to enjoy views of the garden and surrounding countryside. The location was ideal for walks along Hadrians wall and is in easy reach... More

Just had a fantastic night here for my grandsons 10th birthday party with nine of his friends they all had a great time playing in the glen and swimming in the lovely indoor pool. Can't wait to go back.

Spent a fantastic week here and would fully endorse all the other positive reviews on this site. Owners could not have been more helpful and friendly (we were late arriving and they unpacked our shopping delivery!) and the cottage has been fitted out very thoughtfully and to a very high standard. The pool is a real bonus, spotlessly clean and... More

Stayed here for a midweek break with 4 adults and 2 very young children. Couldn't fault it at all. What we liked was it was like walking into someone's house with everything that comes with that. With havin very young children we knew we would be dining in at night and not going far after kids bedtime so needed more... More

We booked here on the spur of the moment to extend the holiday weekend, and it was a good move. The setting is just fabulous, views across the landscape and up to Hadrian's Wall, chickens and red squirrels in the garden, and a warm well-appointed swimming pool which you can rent by the hour. We managed to squeeze in a... More

Stayed here for two nights over half term. Had an excellent family holiday. The cottage was spacious and really warm. Excellent views and ideal for visiting Housesteads and the Wall. Great location. We booked the pool for an hour and had an excellent time - pool really warm. More than enough equipment and appliances in the cottage to cater for... More

Absoloutely superb, lovely tranquill location. The owners Julie and Phillip could not have been more helpfull. Thoroughly enjoyed our early morning swim before breakfast. So relaxing sitting outside having coffee. Lots of attractions nearby. Will certainly be returning.

I have stayed here twice, and both times our stays have be superb. The setting is fabulous, and Julie and Philip really make the stay one to remember. Even though you feel miles from anywhere, everything is provided, even wi-fi. Don't miss out on the private swimming pool especially in the evening. Also great location to see Hadrians wall.
