For £68 for 2 nights this place is ok, but no way does it merit a Trip Advisor excellence award. The staff are indifferent - there was no offer to help with luggage, nor to book us in for dinner at the pub (you need to book). We didn't feel welcomed. We didn't expect a big room but I had... More

Stayed two nights on an Amazon voucher deal. We received a warm welcome and found our room upstairs in the main building. The room was small but had everything we wanted. There was a large walk-in wardrobe, an on-suite bathroom with an enormous shower cubicle, it looked out over fields which was just as well as apart from a blind... More

Stayed at Norton Lodge with Amazon Local deal. Was apprehensive not sure what to expect, was not disappointed, Room was a bit small, beds too hard and lacked soundproofing between rooms, but for 2 nights was acceptable. Very quite rural location, very good breakfast but breakfast room and service needs a total rethink! All in all a good location to... More

Stayed here when the premier inn was full. It's a long way from anywhere and nothing around which was OK on the night I stayed which was warm and pleasant. If it rains dragging your cases from the car over the gravel court yard and up the outside stairs might lose marks. The rooms are motel style and lack character.... More

We stayed here in January on a voucher deal - we were the only people staying for the first night however we received a warm welcome from the owners who gave great advice about where to eat and the local amenities. Our room was quite small with low headroom and it would have been uncomfortable for anyone over about 6... More

Stayed here on a two night Amazon local deal. Our room was clean and modern with all the facilities you could need eg flat screen tv, tea/coffee, free wifi, hair dryer etc. .. The buffet style unlimited breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. We would definitely recommend this place and would certainly stay there again.

Got a great 2 night break on Amazon for this hotel for our anniversary weekend break in Lincolnshire. Since the deal was so cheap I was expected a no frills basic hotel room but That couldn't have been further from the truth. From the minute we arrives staff could not be more helpful, the guy checking us in asked if... More

We had a voucher, I'll be honest, and it wasn't much so to have two nights it didn't have to be The Savoy. We were very pleasantly surprised. Slightly off the beaten track, a quiet village, good parking & a friendly reception. The rooms are good, spacious & well appointed! Stinkingly hot showers, loads of fluffy towels and plenty of... The lodge itself is lovely- well set out around the central courtyard, down winding country single track lanes, although apparently easily accessible from main roads. As I had arrived by train- nearest 'station' (unmanned) is Collingham, I had a decent walk to the lodge. I really would not recommend walking from there with children or if you have lots of... More
