A lovely stay and made very welcome by Jill and Norman. My two children were very impressed and said the bunkbeds were very comfortable. A slight grumble about the breakfast - one of our pre-orders wasn't quite right - but it was still excellent. We would stay there again if we are in the area.

Stayed in the twin room with my friend for a wedding nearby. I stay away very frequently for work but this was by far the best twin room I have ever stayed in. Very spacious, with a good amount of room between the beds, which were very comfortable & spotlessly clean. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast to choose from, I enjoyed... More

Built around the 1920s contains many original features. The bedroom was comfortable but there was no door on the bathroom, just a curtain across. The room had a double bed and 2 extra bunks, this would accommodate a family easily. One problem was there was only one bedside table. Close to Holbeach town centre but that town appears to have... Glad that you were comfortable, we opted for the king size bed in this room rather than a second table as a better use of the space. Holbeach is a small rural market town in common with many other similar towns, does not have the shopping experience of our larger neighbour, Peterborough. Thank for taking the time to review, always... More

Stayed on the 12th July for a wedding and it was no trouble getting back late as we were given a key on booking in,the building is absolutely gorgeous inside, quite stately, the bed was so comfortable and the room was lovely. Got to know the owners only in the morning but it was like meeting old friends and the... More

Thank goodness it was the building that you described as stately, we're getting on abit but not quite stately yet! Thank you for a lovely review, trust your journey back to the beautiful Brecons went well despite the M6/A14. More

A friendly welcome led us into a spotless house of great character. We arrived late so didn't use the living room, but were invited to do so. The bedroom was airy, spacious and comfortable, and beautifully clean. On a warm night the quality summer weight duvets were perfect. The shower wasn't the most powerful but the temperature was constant and... More

Stayed here for one night on 19th June. What a stunning property, we had a lovely room that could accommodate four people (although we were just two). Everything was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Gill and Norman were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was beautifully prepared by Norman and Gill ensured we had everything... More

We travelled from Kent to stay only the one night due to attending a family wedding. The door opened and the welcome was immediately warm and inviting. The hotel itself is an amazing building and the family photos on the dresser on the stairs made it feel like home and not just a resting place. Breakfast was lovely and again... More

A really nice place where nothing was too much trouble. Plus I got an excellent breakfast even though I turned up after it was supposed to be over! Thank you, I am really glad I found this place at fairly late notice - it made the wedding I was attending locally so much better as I didn't have to worry... More

Fantastic building with beautifully apportioned rooms. I stayed in the family room although it was just me staying. Plenty of room, with a real fridge so I could keep my coke cold! Sky Tv in the rooms as well as the lounge... I didn't want to come home! I will be staying in the area frequently so will definitely stop... More
