Stayed for one night and the room whilst small was very clean and well decorated. Bed comfy so slept well. Dinner was good style pub grub and good portions. I had read 186394Ian comments regarding breakfast and could not disagree more. We had a choice of cereal and fruit juice toast with plenty of butter and a range of preserves.... More

We stayed at the Horse and Groom for 4 nights at the end of June. Friendly staff, great meals, menu had lots of variety, breakfast is everything you could want - make a booking for Sunday lunch though or you'll miss out like we did :( There are 3 rooms at the back of the pub in a converted barn.... We attended a wedding in Holbeach and stayed here for two nights. We were very pleasantly surprised! The room was a little small, but everything was brand new and very clean. The staff were so accommodating, especially with our little baby daughter and all her needs, and breakfast in the newly refurbished pub was fantastic. The only negative was the... More

The Horse and Groom is a nice Pub with a row of 3 small cottages behind giving the guests total independence from the main pub if required. Our cottage (number 3) was modern and clean made up of a single room a double bed with a shower room. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was huge and tasty.... More

We have just stayed at the Horse and Groom for 3 nights while working in the area. What more could you ask for in a B&B. The rooms are a little compact but spotlessly clean. Tea, coffee and biscuits are replenished daily. The pub staff are very welcoming and attentive and good tasty pub food is served here. The landlord... More

We stayed here for 1night when visiting family. The rooms are compact, but spotlessly clean, lovely shower room, comfy bed and a small TV. We have been back several times to have a drink and a meal and have never been disappointed. All round good experience

I don't very often complain but this was a real let down. I have been here a couple of times and just not impressed. I ordered my food only to be told a good 15mins later they hadn't got what I ordered. So I order the roast. When it came the meat was tough and gravy really weak and runny.... More

Stayed here for one night. Had an excellent curry at a tandoori over the road, and enjoyed a few drinks and a couple of games of pool. Rooms are comfy and may be a little on the small side although more than adequate for a good nights sleep. Landlord was very welcoming. I would certainly return should I need to... More
