I recently got married in the area and a huge group of my friends took over all the rooms at The New Inn Brilley and it was absolutely fantastic! Daphne is the dream host. She offered to do station pick ups for people and had tonnes of helpful advice about everything from taxi companies to local attractions. The inn is... More

A very relaxing stay in ANGELS at the New Inn, Brilley. Comfortable and private accommodation, with Hay on Wye just five miles away well worth the visit. I would class this as glamping and great for a weekend away. Thoughtful additions by the owner included chocolates and wild flowers left in the room, very welcoming place.

Very secluded. Very rustic. Bring BBQ food. A hobbit hole you could get used to. Take a moment (a few days) to relax and step outside the rat race. Halfway between camping and rural retreat. Complete relaxation and slow down of cooking, sleeping, and being.

We stayed in the waggon over the valley. We loved it. Views were amazing and the accomodation so unique. It felt magical at night. The owner was so accomodating. Not for people who like there luxuries but if you want to connect with nature and find peace this is rhe place for you.

We absolutely loved our stay with the New Inn Brilley. We stayed in the gorgeous 'Angels' which in our opinion was the cutest and best for our needs. Daphne was brilliant and very informative leading up to the stay. I had planned to propose to my girlfriend on the first night and Daphne made all the dreams come true. And... More

Words absolutely fail me.... I've travelled extensively throughout the world and stayed in all manner of places both basic and five star and I can honestly say I've never stayed somewhere so awful. Quaint?!? Not in the slightest. Definitely shabby and not chic. Clean?!! Bloodstains on spare pillow, grubby feel throughout. Self-catering?!? If you like toast (but dont use breadboard... More

We stayed in the wagon over the valley which was fantastic. The view over the valley stunning to wake up to. We spent each evening sat outside watching the sunset which was Spectacular. The new inn is a unique place which gets you back to nature and slows down the rush of life. Thank you

Twinkling lights, an enchanting tin tabernacle in a garden of wild flowers, glimpses of the Tibetan flags, pretty vintage china, fresh flowers in a vase, mezzanine bed with a comfy mattress, gentle breeze from the chapel window, views through the door, valley views of mountains from the veranda, hand built chairs made by a friend of Daphne's, comfy sofa to...
