After our journey we were given a very friendly welcome and a tray of tea and biscuits in the garden. Our room and ensuite were beautifully clean and the bed was very comfortable. There is a lounge and small bar next to the dining room where breakfast is served. The breakfasts are delicious. The owners of the b&b are very... More

I have stayed here a couple of times now as I visit the area often to visit friends and both times the owners have been warm and welcoming. The location is excellent and an easy walk to the main Budleigh Salterton high street. The breakfasts are amazing. The rooms could be considered a bit dated however the rooms are very... More

We stayed here for two nights (31st Oct and 1st Nov). What a gem of a find. We had the ground floor twin room, our own patio too! Very big room, modern and huge bathroom/wet room. The whole place was spotless. Everything was catered for, the breakfast was fantastic with a choice of fruit, cereals, toast, porridge and cooked English... More

Stayed for one night here. We received a helpful and friendly service. Our room was cozy and spotlessly clean with everything we needed and we slept well. Breakfast was very good. Dining room, lounge and conservatory are really lovely and there is a large garden with outside seating which in the summer must be a great place to sit and... More

After an absence of two years (where does the time go?) we booked in to Long Range Hotel for three nights. As we were rather late in booking we had the only room left, number 1, which is on the ground floor and has facilities for the disabled, a large kingsized bed which was very comfortable, and an huge walk... We stayed here for one night and it certainly was a very interesting stay, It was a bit like faulty towers and the interior certainly needs updating! The room was comfy enough and the main thing is, it was clean, OK so the room itself is very old fashioned but it was clean. The breakfast needs a lot of work,... More

We recently took two very good friends to our favourite Devon hotel, we have stayed with Brian and Lorraine at Long Range many times, and wondered how first time visitors would view it. Although our friends are younger ( and fitter ) than us and had dietary requirements, they were bowled over with the views, the cleanliness, the friendliness and the overall... More

Good location set in private gardens. Room (no 1) including bathroom was spacious and mobility friendly. Spotlessly clean with comfortable bed - two singles joined to provide large size bed at our request - this was much appreciated. Quiet area within walking distance (less than 10 mins) to both main high street and coastal walk. Staff welcoming and informative without... More
