This has to be the best B&B we have stayed in with lots of nice touches. Bedroom (Peebles we stayed in) was large and spotless, nice big bed, large window and very comfortable overall. The house is old and ozzies character, we could sit outside on the verandah for hours, a lovely spot. Breakfast excellent, big choice and served fresh... More

Thanks for such great comments, we really love having people to stay, the house is full of character it was built about 1850 and must have been one of the grand houses in Budleigh at the time, so has lots of space and is in easy reach of the town centre and coastal path, beach etc. But is also lovely... We spent 2 days at Rosehill - Friday and Saturday nights. From a warm welcome, two superb breakfasts and thoughtful extras it was everything we wanted in a weekend break. Very nice hosts who have a beautiful home in what is a very nice seaside town. Very helpful with their suggestions for local sites to see too. Budleigh Salterton is... More

We stayed at Rosehill one weekend in february to merge a local business visit (Exeter) with visiting family (Exmouth). Sharon and Willi were very welcoming, and made our stay very comfortable. There is the perfect balance of attention to detail without being intrusive. The room was delightful (Pebbles) and the breakfast setting (lovely room, open fire!) and spread were both... More

We stayed here as the only guests from 1st to 4th January 2014. We had the Sandcastle suite which was just lovely. Hosts Willi and Sharon were nice yet unobtrusive - we only saw them at breakfast time. There is a bell should you wish to speak to them but we never needed to. There is a selection of DVDs... More

Back at Rosehill again, and it was every bit as great as last time. Beautiful room, beautiful food, wonderful hospitality. Of the six guests staying, four were repeat visitors.....which should tell you everything you need to know.

So good to get such wonderful comments, we have been here for 5 years now and it is really lovely to have people return so often to stay, in fact all 6 guests staying were back for their second third and even 8th time, lovely to see them and catch up with them again. Let's hope that we have another... More

Our second stay (our first was in October 2012) and it was superb again. The Sandcastle room is perfect - we love the big bathroom and big sitting area. The full English breakfast is excellent and the service very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Over six days my "adopted family" catered for me with the greatest care and attention to detail. The rooms were immaculate, the house is full of character yet open, fresh and welcoming. The breakfast was a daily delight - their collection of crockery is charming but decadent to sip from. The hosts are charming, friendly yet professional: and the grounds... More
