Tired 60s/70s throw up. The hotel was overpriced and over rated trapped in inertia. The staff were not helpful until pushed then did their job begrudgingly. Generally incapable and rude, particularly in the restaurant 'Eatcetera'. The rooms are old and tired, the linen was dirty and looked like it had been dragged across the floor. Capable of providing basic standards... More

The Hof van Wageningen is a curious but not unpleasant mixture of hotel, residential conference centre and restaurant, with comfortable bedrooms (at least in the wing where I stayed), a whole lot of meeting rooms and large eating areas. I attended a three day meeting and enjoyed breakfast and other meals in the stylish restaurant overlooking a busy tree-lined avenue... More

I stayed 4 nights while I was in town for a conference. Friendly staff at check in. Good buffet breakfast and good Wifi. The room and bathroom were clean, but very small. Tiny TV. Just room for a single bed. No airco, which was not a problem when I stayed. Little street noise, but hallways were sometimes noisy. The place... More

The room was small, but clean (also the bathroom); the bed was warm and quite comfortable. I my view this is an average level, standard hotel for working trips, not fancy. Breakfast was Okay. The hotel was near the town centre and the bus station.

I stayed in Hof Van Wageningen for my three wrrk training last year. The hotel was a superb, the meal served to us was just right, especially at breakfast. The hotel wifi connection was good as well as the facilities. The location is likewise near to thw town center, where i was able to buy some souvenirs at a reasonable... More

Where do you find a €69 a night hotel that has all you need for a one night's sleep and a decent breakfast? With Hotel de Wereld fully booked we had no choice but to stay at the Hof van Wageningen, equally centrally located. The rooms are former student rooms that have been slightly updated. Our room was clean, bed... More

The rooms are incredibly outdated and the staff is rude. On the day we visited it was 30c. There was no airco and the worker at the front desk seemed offended that we requested a fan. They had no fans and he suggested we open the window... Nothing about this hotel is exceptional; the rooms are almost empty; only bed... More

One of the most depressing, shabby, business hotels I have ever been to. Old and dirty building, not comfortable nor cosy rooms with the shower in the middle. Poor breakfast. And you have to pay when you check-in! Amazing! I would not recommend such a poor experience!

The hotel is located just outside the centre of Wageningen (5 min. walk) on a busy road. The rooms are very basic and really feel like student rooms. The bed was good, the room was clean and the bathroom with shower was very small, although everything worked. However there was a lot of noise from the street and as the... More

I stayed in this "hotel" (loosely described) on Thursday 1st May 2014 as part of a group. The check in was fast and efficient and the lobby area, although slightly dated, gave hope that this hotel would live up to some basic expectations of comfort and style. How wrong I was... On arriving up in my room, after waiting 5... More
