A welcome haven on a drive from Southern to Northern Spain. Spacious clean room and wonderful plunge pool - just what was needed in the afternoon heat. Gracious and helpful hostess. Highly recommend for a stop over - la balconada restaurant wonderful too

Cosy B&B near the beautiful plaza mayor of Chinchon. Excellent breakfast with homemade bread, jambon, cheese, fruit,... Hotel owners are very kind and very service minded. Parking available close to the hotel. Weak or sometimes no wifi signal in our room.

I participated in an art workshop led by an American artist who has a studio in Chinchon. I was interested equally in the workshop and in seeing Spain, and I knew I wouldn't find the time and didn't have the experience to plan a trip on my own. To my good fortune, the workshop participants each had a room at... More

This is our third visit to the hotel in the past four years and we always seek it out if we have time when we are in the Madrid area. As the name suggests, the hotel is situated in the restored house of a former Spanish aristocrat... a beautiful and elegant house with a stunning garden and pool area where... More

This was our last stop in Spain after 5 weeks travelling. We found the Casa very comfortable indeed and appreciated the very personal attention from Carla and her perfect English. We used the Casa as a base for exploring the surrounding countryside, and would thoroughly recommend it. Toledo and Cuenca were easily reached by car, and we took the bus... More

We stayed at this immaculate B&B for 3 nights en route from Bilbao to Andalucia to use as a base for Madrid sight seeing. It was perfect, knowledgable helpful hostess, easy 40 mins drive into Madrid and wonderful fresh breakfast available at our specified time. we took evening dinner at excellent local restaurants within a few metres of the B&B.... Travelling from UK to Spain this delightful little hotel was our treat after adequate-but-no-frills motel fare. Beautifully restored, quiet and comfortable. Could have stayed longer but Andalucia was calling... It would be ideal as a base for exploring the wonderful Spanish towns around Madrid - something for us to think about when we have the time to do that. Chinchon... More

We had originally intended to stay in central Madrid but instead found Casa Marquesa, which is located just 50 metres from the plaza mayor in the middle of the village. Madrid is about 40 minutes away by car (there is also a regular bus service) and towns such as Arenjuez and Toledo are within easy reach. The hotel has been... More

What a relief arriving at the "Casa" after our long plane trip from the US. Chinchon is about 45 minutes from Madrid! The "Casa" was the perfect place to recover, get a good meal and much needed sleep! We parked the car nearby the hotel and enjoyed a great dinner at the "Balcony" restaurant on the town square - less... More

Felt just like returning home as we were welcomed once again by Carla. Such a superb retreat that as soon as we park the car at the top of the village and walk the 5 mins into the main square we feel like we have never been away. That's the true test of a great hotel !!! 1 night feels... More
