My partner and I stayed 6 nights in El Hotel de la Villa situated in the village of Pedraza about 90 minutes out of Madrid. We were staying as part of an English language saturation course for Spanish adults. As such this review will reflect the fact that the hotel was mostly occupied by 28 clients for the course. The... I stayed at this hotel with Vaughan Town, so we were a group of English speakers and Spaniards who wanted to learn English. Firstly, the hotel is beautiful. Much larger than it looks from the outside, the reception and bar area is very relaxing and there are plenty of comfy chairs to sit in and use the WiFi (because you... More

This is a mad town. Very old and very cool. This hotel is also super old but the rooms are modern and staff (although they speak no English) were super friendly. We stayed for one night and it was great. If you are in the area and looking for a hotel then this is a winner.

Cannot imagine why this hotel was ranked #3; everything was perfect and probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in; the management went out of their way to make us comfortable. Our room was large with a skylight and we had a view of a stork's nest! Would highly recommend this hotel!!!

In very cold and snowy January I stayed with a group of English speakers and Spaniards spending five days conversing and walking about the nearly deserted village. The village is lovely and the hotel a fine place to spend several days. The staff was probably reduced during the off season but managed to cope well, though a bell to summon... More

The town of Pedraza boasts three hotels. We stayed in this one and were certainly pleased. The room itself was charmingly decorated and superbly clean. One morning everyone must have showered at the same time as there was virtually not even warm water. The breakfast is quite adequate and service fine. Amazing basket of amenities in each bathroom.

we were able to select our room using the pictures online, and we were not disppointed. super king size bed, incredibly comfortable. charming decoration, big room, very clean. breakfast included, limited but good. definitely worth being in the village at night when all the day trippers have left. standing alone in the silent plaza mayor at 11pm is magical. staff... Over the last 20 years I have stayed with family and friends at this hotel more than 15 times. Twice I have taken a group of 55 of our friends and family from the US to this hotel to celebrate birthdays. The hotel is not a luxury property but it is the nicest hotel in this very tiny, pure Spanish... More
