went on a weeks riding holiday which was trail riding to monastries and twice to the beach, the hotel and pool were excellent, the food moderate, staff did not know what fish we were eating, the horses very nice, some of the saddles didnt fit resulting in horses getting sore, [trail horses] this should be elementary for an established equitation centre,

I stayed here on the Forest and Beaches trail holiday, which was great fun and a good time to visit because it is not too hot, the island is still green, there are flowers everywhere and it is not too crowded. As a newcomer to horse riding I found our guide Joe's tutoring invaluable and with much of the day... More

I went for a one week course with my daughter, didn,t quite know what to expect, but I can wholeheartedly say it was the most amazing place, the horse were very well mannered , loved attention and a pleasure to ride, we wandered around to see horses, donkeys of varies ages and breeds, all were friendly even the unhandled yearlings.... My husband and I spent one week here in September. The weather was still quiet hot, but not unbearable for me. The rooms are basic and rustic but quite nice (the showers in the cabins are very small so be warned!), and I think the rooms in the actual main building are much nicer, but I was ok with the... My wife and I went on the holiday even though I am a beginner and she is a vastly experienced horse rider. However, the place was very helpful and managed to work around this so we would spend plenty of time together when we could. If you English, I warn you that the place is isolated by approx. 5km which... More

Spent at week at Son Menut on a pre booked program through a UK agent. Transfer from the airport spot in. Arrival at the location easy but receptionist in the evening didn't speak english so couldn't ask any questions. Just shown the room and told dinner at 7pm. Nothing more. The food i'm glad to say was excellent - you... More

Son Menut offers riding from beginner level upwards. My wife and I stayed for four nights and the centre arranged a programme for us. The horses are impressive, many of them bred at Son Menut. I found the two I rode very responsive and also generally calm and well behaved. My wife took lessons and thought the teaching was very... More

Booked through UnicornTrails. The dressage tuition was mostly on one of their Andalusian Stallions who was very well behaved. The tuition was not too demanding - quite lay back. The trail rides from the centre were quite hair raising in that you cantered on gravel tracks - being the only Englishman on the rides I was the only one wearing... More
