I live on the island and know of this delightful hotel and it's supposed good rating. I was insulted and turned away recently after bringing family there and asking to have a drink and show them the location. Apparently the owner of the building does not wish to have future custom and is incredibly rude and aggressive when dealing with... More

Just got back from a three day stay at Son Cardaix. The property is a beautiful traditional finca, very quiet and a lovely open aspect with a very good size pool. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming. We had the suite at the top of the building which provided a double bedroom and very large bathroom for me and... More

before we travlled a trip adviser report about damp and poor service prompted me to speak with the travel organisoer-- this was to be a very exspensive hotel for us and 200+ a night b&B-- the reply was enough for us to travel. What we enjoyed was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in-- the 'smell' reported... More

This is definitely a hotel for couples and not for families. The hotel is an old converted building dating back to who knows when but there it appears to be before 1500. The rooms are really spacy and scything fits in with the old look with no jarring modern elements. The whole hotel is set on a farm with sheep... More

This finca is a nice property with a good pool area and lovely gardens. Most rooms are suits, part of them with a terrace. The decor itself was nice, but the room was damp and smelly. Everything felt moist and the air was smelly like in a morgue. Same problem with the other rooms. Breakfast was OK; but not really... More

Without question one of the most beautiful and tranquil places I have ever been. The owner and staff could not have been more attentive ,the rooms were large and furnished to a high standard all with views over this wonderful finca. The meals were served in the restaurant or on the terrace ,it was home made traditional Mallorcan Cuisine a... More

My wife and I have stayed at Son Cardaix three times in five years and will certainly be returning. A wonderfully peaceful and relaxing environment and one of the best small hotels on the island. We have stayed in several off the beaten track hotels on Mallorca, and enjoyed most of them, but this is the one we most look... More

We stayed here at the end of August 06. We could not fault it and both agree it was the most wonderful find. The rooms are all tastefully decorated, with huge beds. We stayed in the room where the olives used to be pressed. The rainfall shower in the bathroom was bliss each morning. Breakfast was served outside under a... More

An absolute haven of peace and quiet and elegance. Historical converted Mallorcan manor house. Small boutique hotel with 8 suites. Breakfast is a joy and served in elegant cool dining room. Suites are large with huge double bed, clean white linen, walk in dressing room, lounge area and lovely bathroom. Dinner can be booked each evening and is virtually served... More
