I loved this place. The staff was friendly, the rooms were minimalist and spacious and the grounds were lovely. We had the buffet for breakfast which wasn't exactly cheap, but was delicious (they will happily make you an omelette or eggs cooked any way you like, just ask). The only downside I could think of for this place was that... More

Unfortunatelly we cannot "move" the building to other "hot place" around the city, but you will love this place in summertime while enjoying the swimmimg pool on your own and sleeping all night long without crowd noises everywhere. Thanks for taking your time publishing this review and of course, we hope to see you back soon. More

We had a short break in the town and found the Hotel to be in an ideal location for walking to the centre and to see the various sights. Room was comfortable, wi-fi excellent, and staff extremely helpful and English speaking, so everything was fine for us. Tried the pool but it was pretty cold!

We enjoyed our stay in the spacious room and especially the huge terrace. Also it is great to have the swimming pool area. The hotel is modern and rooms are spacious and of modern design. However, it is also rather expensive to stay here... The hotel is close to the old part of town with easy access to the restaurant... More

Very clean, simple, cosy. Good rooms, good breakfast, no complaints at all. Little honesty bar was a nice touch, pool area a great spot to relax. In keeping with the whole area. A great little find. Ample parking. Perfect lay over or long weekender.

Stopped off in Hondarribia on a drive through France, Spain and Portugal. Friendly and helpful staff who made checking in an easy experience. The restaurant was very good with a selection from the menu. The hotel was good enough that we actually booked the same hotel for the return leg of our trip. One pice of advice though; if you... My first visit to Hondarribia, to be honest, I'd never even heard of the place until I booked a flight from San Sebastian airport. Well, what a lovely town - interestingold castle area, a village type bar / restaurant scene, a port and a beach. Also frequent ferries to France a short hop away. Had a great room on the... More

Stayed 1 night at start of driving tour of Northern spain. Very warm and helpful welcome from Sara in reception. Nice touch with free wine/juice/coffee on arrival. Ideal location for old town and bars etc. Dinner menu good and not overpriced. Don't agree with comment about 3 star pretending to be 4. Would recommend strongly.

Stayed in room 316 for 5 nights in June 2013, modern spacious room and nice grounds and convenient parking. The staff were helpful. Hondarribia is a nice town and a reasonable alternative to expensive Biarritz a little further north and a good place for exploring areas to the north and south which I did.

This is really a three star hotel masquerading as a four-star hotel. One thing that is very impressive is the attitude and helpfulness of the staff, they can't do enough for you. We had taken with us by ferry an off-roader mobility scooter which is quite big. It needs to be kept on charge. The staff let us keep it... More

It's a great drive from Pau in Aquitaine, France to Hondarribia in Spain. The drive across the mountains is exhilarating, and plenty of views to keep your passenger enthralled. The roads in Spain are just as good as their French neighbours are. Why are our roads like a third-world country. I remember Spain during General Franco's time in power, and... More
