Stayed here just 4 1 night passing through, but pleased with all. Staff were friendly + helpful. Rooms clean + large enough even with 2 babies. Close enough to walk to the restaurants in town. Parking was a little tight with our trailer + roof rack, but we managed ok. Would book again.

On my second visit to Hondarribia, I chose this hotel for its quiet location about 7 minutes from city center. We were impressed by everyone associated with the hotel, gracious, helpful, attentive to every need. We were there for 4 days and we loved it. Modern, comfortable room, great restaurant and away from the crowd noise of center city. I... More

Located a short walk from both the old town and the newer city of Hondarribia, this 4 star hotel is a good choice. + nice, modern rooms with quite large bathroom + free parking in hotel garage + staff is polite and helpful (with map of the town and recommendations) + due to a wedding reception at the hotel that... We originally planned to stay in the Parador in Hondarribia but looking at the reviews and comparing prices, we instead opted for this hotel. A good decision. While it does not have the "old-world" atmosphere of a parador, it is welcoming, clean and very comfortable. It is in a residential area that we thought would be quite a distance from... More

This is indeed a top flight hotel! Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable, well thought out rooms. Excellent bathrooms. Restaurant serving great food - beautifully presented and full of flavour. Good value wine list. Copious breakfast buffet. All this in a quiet[ish] setting on the hill midway between the old, walled town and the newer [but still characterful] town -... More

This is, as most reviews confirm, a top quality hotel. It is very stylish, with the bar and restaurant areas a lovely place to sit. The staff have good English and are helpful in providing suggestions for travel and sightseeing, also providing us with a very detailed map as we checked out. Our room was very clean and well fitted... More

Stayed at this hotel with five close school chums on our annual weekend away. The Jaizkibel is modern and the building is unremarkable from the outside. Inside it is well furnished and the rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and very peaceful. I would comment, as did another reviewer, that it would be great to have a full length mirror in... Excellent location and staff were fantastic. Pace was also clean with kitchen. A little noisy due to the festival, but so good to be so close to it. Only down side is it is not close to the beach. Overall great hotel.

We stayed one night at the parador in Hondarribia but moved to the Hotel Jaizkibel motivated by its excellent restaurant and spacious and quiet rooms. This was the best hotel we stayed at during a two week trip to Spain. Although located in a leafy area of Hondarribia it is within a 5-10 minute walk of restaurants and sea front.... More
