We´ve had wonderful experiences throughout our trip and Villa Lorenea was no exception. The proprietor, Blanca, is super cool and has great taste. Her hotel is mid-century meets country house, with large windows with green, leafy views and beautiiful spaces to relax inside and out. The rooms are comfortable and light, until you´re ready for them to be dark and... More

This hotel is really nice. It is located very close to the center but in a residential, very quiet area. The decoration is really good, beautiful, elegant, sober, it is great. Really, the little living room that you arrive to (and where you can have breakfast) is a delight. The room we got was also great, practical, with a lot... More

We chose this Villa for its neighborhood location near the town, and we found much else to like about it. The owner was extremely helpful with our accommodations and went to extraordinary lengths to resolve a minor problem we had upon arrival. With two teenage boys in our party, she and her staff also helped us find appropriate activities and... More

We initially wanted to stay in San Sebastan but we ended up in Hondarribia and I think it was a luck. I appreciated this small, elegant, lively town and we were delighted to stay at Villa Lorenea. It is very well decorated, has beautiful garden with an incredible jasmine perfume where you can have breakfast. The bed was fine, so... More

Just five minutes’ stroll to the restaurants of the old town, this b & b is set in a beautifully restored villa with garden, in a plush, green part of town. Rooms make clever use of space, with modern bathrooms and simple, stylish decor. Small lounge and terrace for drinks/breakfast. Book well ahead in summer.

My family recently stayed at Villa Lorenea due to the fact that another hotel we were interested in was completely booked, and I am very happy that we found this gem. We are experienced home exchangers and tend to like staying in residential areas versus tourist areas, and this B&B is in a lovely residential area yet a short walk... More

A house in the Villa area just on the outskirts of the town. 6 (?) good sized, well furnished bedrooms in a very pleasant garden on a extremely quiet road. An easy 10 minute stroll to the centre of the town in one direction and maybe a 15 minute walk to the boat Harbour and beach in the opposite direction.... More

Villa Lorenea is a very comfortable, clean and welcoming b&b. Blanca is an excellent host, making sure you have everything you need. My room was on the entry floor, in the back. While I did hear some car activity in the early morning, I was not bothered by it. Blanca and her helper set out a lovely breakfast table in... More

What a wonderful weekend we had back in September. The place is worthy of a 5 stars hotel! Very polite and kind staff, nicely decorated and big rooms, very clean, a garden with the terrace, has a parking lot, and so on... Also, placed in a quiet and nice environment; but at a 5 min walking distance to the center... More

We stayed at Hotel Lorenea for 3 nights in the middle of summer! It was very, very hot and dry but the owners told us that the Summer of 2012 was unusually rain-free! Breakfast out in the garden was a treat, with lovely fresh fruits, cereals and yoghurt, the loveliest fresh orange juice, and coffee. Hot breakfast could be ordered... More
