Our room was spacious and comfortable and the free WiFi worked in our room, although, to no great surprise, it was fairly slow. There were a couple of problems with bathroom fittings but these were dealt with immediately by the friendly and very helpful staff who are this hotel's greatest asset. Most speak little or no English but were very... More

Agree with all recent reviews-very good value.Aracena is a delightful town to visit. This hotel has a distinctive character. The bar/cafetaria is open to the public and keeps Spanish hours. If you want breakfast before 9am then order it the night before. The bus station at Aracena is also a fine place to eat & drink (We arrived by bus from Huelva (fine view... I think that this Hotel must have been refurbished since some of the reviews were written. I found the rooms to be clean, well furnished with a good ensuite bathroom. For the price I cannot think of anything to complain about. A good town to visit.

We stayed 4 nights at this very centered hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and ample. This is an older hotel and somewhat dated, but it has lots of charm. The price was very reasonable. From this hotel we could walk anywhere in the town, it is only a few blocks from... More

We stayed here 2 nights while visiting this small town. We were very pleased with our stay as we always travel on a budget, the most important thing for us is that the Hotel, our Rooms are clean and the beds comfortable, the next most important thing we look for is a good location, so we can easily see everything... We were at this hotel just one night while visiting the nearby area and the town. I do not think it is for more than one night and we definitely look for another option if visiting the area again. The rooms had old shades that made difficult to have some light in the room and the lightning was poor, therefor... More

We stayed at Hotel Sierra de Aracena in April 2013 for two nights. As been posted before by other guests, the hotel would benefit from some refurbishment. However, the rooms are functional, the beds are just fine and the location is great. Worth mentioning was the staff, however. Everybody was very friendly. When we forgot our jacket in the room,... Friendly staff, and great to be able to park my motorbike in garage. Clean and moderately well appointed, but severe absence of sound proofing between rooms and ancient creaky beds did little for a good night's sleep. Excellent position though, and one of the less expensive places in the town.

Good location in the centre of town with parking directly outside. Close to a number of good bars/eateries ( would esp recommend Cafe Bar Manzano for its excellent choice of tapas). Staff friendly. Breakfast v cheap from bar downstairs & there is a great little churreria just off the main square which is also really cheap.

We got a late start on our drive from Lisbon to Sevilla and found ourselves in Aracena at 8pm hungry and with no place to stay. The GPS was directing us to a hostel in the town but with all the twisty roads, we were unable to find it. But we did stumble across Sierra de Aracena Hotel along the... More
